It's never easy saying good bye, but watching them immediately start digging and finding bugs just makes your heart smile. β€οΈπ¦¨π¦¨ Still have 5 more stinkers to grow! β€οΈ
These little bozos give me so much joy! π€£π€£π€£
The coonies have the 2028 Olympics in their sights! Training starts now! π€£π€£π€£π₯°π₯°π₯°
Live super worms are their FAVORITE! I just hate the crunching. π¬π These two are next to move outside. They grow so fast. π₯²
Crickets...it's what's for dinner! These are my seven 30 gram babies that are now 170grams! Their little instincts kicked right in! π¦π¦π¦
Skunks are some of the most playful babies. Having siblings is a must when rehabbing skunks. It truly is vital to their development and growth. Sometimes I have to go in there and tell them to cool it because one will be screaming UNCLE and they just keep on. π€£ These two don't have open eyes yet and are already wrestling. β€οΈ (excuse the video quality, had they heard me they'd of started crying for food π¬)
First time trying formula for themselves. A couple were like βοΈπ¨ I'm not getting dirty. But several actually tried it! Just 2 weeks ago these sweet ones were 30g...now they are 50 and have eyes opened! π₯°π₯°π₯° they will still be tube fed till I feel they are eating well enough on their own. So proud of these wee bits!
When the sauce hits...π₯°π¦¨π₯°
These stinkers complain like crazy!! π€£ The littlest will walk off a cliff if I'm not careful when she's storming around complaining. π€¦ββοΈπ
The little bozos are getting too big for their nursery cage so I moved them out to a little bigger area outside-it will be bigger in a month. They are weaned and getting vaxed today. They are still having trouble using the litter π and not wanting big kid food- real food, just wanting their kibble, but they will be with me till October so lots of time to learn. Here I am trying to reassure them about their new home.
I've been down sick, but my little rehab can't take breaks. My family has been doing this with me for 3 years now and they know how to help. I still made meals because each one is specific...but my children took some over-time-to-release possies to the woods for me. β€οΈ
Because I miss her and her gaze into the abyss...I call this one: why won't these children sleep?!
Sound up ππ for poss-poss eating ASMR!
New babies in the incubator...sound up for a clue. π
Preparations are being made for sweet Margaret's departure. I was finally able to take a baby to get approximate weights. 220g! Of course, not all babies will go with momma poss, we want to disperse properly. Please enjoy this video of Margaret trying to escape motherhood...lol!
Time to play, "How many babies does Margaret have?". She was able to sneak away for a minute to have a potty break. (I've been calling her Margaret because in each picture I take, it looks like she could be the cover photo for the book- Are you there God? It's me Margaret. π€£π€£π€£)
Poss-poss breakfast βοΈ poss-poss exercise βοΈ poss-poss nap...coming up!
When I grow up I want to be as patient as a momma poss. π€£π₯°
These bozos like seeds too. π€¦ββοΈ
Look at her big belly full of sweetness! π₯° Her momma waddle is precious!
