Lil babe Patches is making strides and STILL needs a forever family! Please share her with your network!🙏🏻🩷

Patches came to us in May and has been in a very sweet and caring foster home. Patches is a tiny girl and only around 25 lbs. She came to us after being rescued by

Patches was a street dog and we know had at least two litters of puppies prior to being rescued and spayed. Since coming to America, she has been learning to be a cherished, safe, indoor pet. We think she is finally actually starting to enjoy it and get the hang of it!

Patches is believed to be nearly two years old. She has been fully vetted and is looking for a loving, patient family.

Patches does great with dogs of all sizes, cats, and respectful kids. She is pretty low energy and just likes to chill 🧘‍♀️

We are looking for a home with a fenced in yard and a patient adopter who will continue to show her positive experiences. Patches has come a long way (literally from PR) and deserves to have a happily ever after 🥺

Meet Chase! 🖤Chase is looking for a forever home in the greater Denver area; could it be with you?

Chase is coming to us from Cleveland, TX, where he was at a local pound for over 30 days and his time was up due to lack of space and interest⏰🥺 Poor guy is so young and has his whole life ahead of him!

He safely arrived to Denver last week and we were kind of taken aback with how friendly he was, because most of our dogs are terrified off transport, and he was ready to party, give kisses & mingle🎉 😂 😘

Despite his past, he is unbelievably friendly, happy, and just loves everyone and everything.

Chase is believed to be around a year old and we have had him fully vetted and neutered. Chase should probably run for Mayor, as everyone adores him and he loves to be social. Chase has been to doggy daycare and loves it! We believe Chase would love another playful dog, but would also be a really great solo dog for an active family. He’s always down for an adventure!

Chase is around 47 lbs. He has the coolest markings, with webbed feet and we think he may be a great water dog! After he plays, he loves to make himself into a tiny ball and get tucked into bed by his foster mom.

We just adore this beautiful, happy go lucky boy and know he will make the best little friend to someone.

New fundraiser plea!! 📣 We need help with Dexter’s hydrotherapy and vet bills please!! 🙏🏻 Dexter has had around 12 hydrotherapy sessions to help strengthen his legs after he had surgery.

We’ve had Dexter since April and have invested a lot of money into helping him get to where he needs to be, both medically and behaviorally. He is still in foster care and hasn’t received any adoption apps☹️

The past 5 hydrotherapy visits have totaled to be around $610 and we really need help with fundraising those costs, as well as for tomorrow’s vet visit for his neuter, additional vaccines, 4DX test, and additional pain meds for his legs.

🖤 Our goal is to raise $950. Can you please help us reach our goal for Dexter’s medical bills?🙏🏻

Adoption Update!! “Laundry Room Leo” is now “Loved and Adventurous Leo”🥹

Leo was left behind at a Houston apartment complex when his owner abandoned him last September. Leo tried to brave the elements by hiding in the apartment complex laundry room and a kind maintenance man would feed him until he found help from a rescue. Leo waited 3 months for help🥺

We were tagged by a friend and knew we had to get him!

We picked him up and took him to the vet and he was sadly heartworm positive. He made his way to Colorado and begun his healing journey, both for heartworms and for the trauma he had experienced while in Houston from his former owner.

While Leo has some quirks he’s still working on (don’t we all?), his mom loves him to bits and accepts him, knowing he has been through extreme trauma and just needed a chance.

Leo’s new mom had been following his journey for months and would frequently ask about him. However, her lease wasn’t up until January 2025.

Get this: his new mom literally broke her lease specifically to find an apartment that allowed dogs so she could adopt Leo🥲🥲🥲

Leo was adopted earlier this summer and now gets to go on all the adventures! He’s a regular hiking guru and is a total mama’s boy. Leo is almost always smiling with his cute little grin, soaking up being a cherished family member.

Thanks to his fosters in TX and CO for all you’ve done for him. Thank you everyone for supporting Leo through his healing and medical journey.

Happy belated gotcha day to DeeDee (Dexter’s sister!)😍

DeeDee, now named Nova, was adopted really quickly, as she went into a foster-to-adopt home when she arrived to CO.

Dexter (still looking for a home) and DeeDee were dumped puppies in Cleveland, TX, where they then were picked up and brought to the pound, at only around 8 weeks old. After sitting in the pound with no interest, they then were EU listed 😣

Thanks to our rockstar foster .rivera, they were picked up and fostered locally til they made transport to Denver.

Nova is now in Denver living her best life! 😍 She was adopted by an incredible man who had just recently moved to Denver and was looking for a best friend. He had originally applied for another pup who was then pending adoption and no longer available, so we recommended Nova for him! Fate would have it, he found that best friend in sweet Nova. ❤️

🐾 Per her dad:
“Nova is doing great. She’s so big already! I took Nova to a canine rehab center with a pool. She loves the water!”

I then said to her dad: “What a fun life! Thank you for giving her such a great home. I hope she filled that missing void in your life with pure joy and laughter.”

🐾 Her dad responded:
“Oh yeah she’s been a huge boost to my overall mental health and happiness. She’s such a fun playful dog. I’ve never met a happier dog than her.. she gets so excited to meet anyone or any dog we come across. She’s turning me into more of a social person, cuz I’m a total introvert. 😂”

Nova’s dad changed her life, just as much as she changed his🥲🥹🥰

Update - adopted 🥳Foster Mila went hiking for the first time today and she had a total blast!!!

She is growing more and more confident by the day and it’s been so fun seeing her come out of her little shell and be a puppy.

She’ll be at our adoption event on Sunday to mingle and give out free kisses 😘

Mila will be present from 8a-10a
Dory will be present from 10a-noon
Dexter will be present from noon to 2pm

Maggie, your story brings me to tears how you were adopted, discarded and then returned like you never mattered. However, we are now overjoyed seeing how your story panned out. You deserve the world and a life full of love and happiness; and boy did you find that!

Help! ‼️ Please get Dexter’s face out there. We’ve had him for 150 days and he hasn’t received any interest - not even one inquiry or application!💔 We need to find him a family, as he’s growing up in foster care ☹️

Dexter has gone through so much in his short little life on earth, but that doesn’t keep him down. He’s a super spirited, silly, and playful pup that needs a forever home!

Dexter is super smart and loves other dogs. He and his sister Dee Dee were dumped in Cleveland, TX as tiny puppies. When we picked them up from the pound, Dexter was walking strangely and we took him to the vet to have his legs looked at. Sadly, whomever had him prior, allegedly must have kicked or dropped him has a puppy, which resulted in fractures for his tiny bones🥺

He’s had surgery, multiple hydrotherapy sessions to build strength, and needs a loving family.

Dexter is an active dude & would likely make an awesome adventure and hiking buddy. He loves to play, loves other dogs, and loves toys.

We are looking for a family who has breed experience of a working class dog, as Dexter’s DNA results label him as primarily 50% German Shepherd (with some lab and others breeds too). He will need a family who will continue to work on training him to be the best boy he can be.

There has to be a family out there for him somewhere, so we are opening up applications to not just be in our typical Denver metro area.

Can you please network Dexter with everyone you know? Someone has to know someone who can give him a loving, patient, and understanding home🥺

Happiest adoption day to you, Snoopy!!!!🎉🥳🎉

Snoopy was found by a Good Samaritan (thank you, !!), after they found him dumped at an apartment complex in Houston in July.

After networking, our good friend & foster, Estie, took him in while he awaited transport to CO. He was placed in a CO foster to adopt home with the most loving family ever, and fate would have it — they decided to adopt him!

Snoopy is the apple of their eye 🍎 and they adore him to bits. Snoopy is also now neighbors with former alumni, Daisy, who was rescued back in 2021 and they have a blast hanging out.

Thanks to all who have helped Snoopy get to where he’s at today. It truly takes a village.

Foster Binx is doing really well and it’s coming up on a year since she was rescued, hence why her name is a Hocus Pocus theme 👻 🧙‍♀️ 🐈‍⬛ Her siblings have all been adopted, but not her😢

Binx was rescued by another rescue and sadly had zero interest at their shelter from October ‘23 to August ‘24. We’re obviously suckers for shy dogs, so she was transferred to us to help broaden her search for a family.

Binx is super excited for spooky season and we’d love to find her a forever family to celebrate her favorite holiday with! She has made so many strides the past month!🥲

🖤 A bit more about Binx:
• Rez Dog rescued back in Oct 2023. Parvo survivor
• Estimated to be a little over a year old spayed female
• Roughly 50 lbs and believed to be a shepherd x cattle dog mix
• Loves her squeaky toys and playing fetch with them. She has the cutest little trot and pounce when she plays catch 🥹
• Loves other dogs and would likely do best with another friendly, established dog, but could be okay as a solo dog with a patient and loving family
• Seems scared of cats, but could possibly like friendly ones?
• Spooks easily, so she’s working on confidence building!
• Great recall, super smart and eager to please
• Loves to cuddle and sleep next to you
• Gentle and very quiet unless the other household dogs start barking & wants to join their choir😆
• Has the cutest zoomies and loves to play/chase/be chased with other playful pups

It’s been almost a year that little Mack was adopted & he’s doing so well!

For those who have been following us since 2021, you may notice a familiar face with the hound pup - ITS NORAH!! Norah was rescued from Roswell back in 2021 and was the most scared pup we’ve ever had (but now that award goes to Binx 🫣. Side note: I’m telling you, Binx will be the best little friend to someone if they just give her a chance!)🩷

Norah was such a good sis and taught Mack the ropes of being a cherished family member. They both have the sweetest, most caring parents ever. Their parents love them so much, and even moved into a home just so the pups could have a large fenced in yard!

Mack was rescued last year from an abuse and neglect case. His toenails were so grown out and he was just skin and bones when we got him!

Mack has since then been fully vetted, gone on lots of adventures, and even graduated from puppy school 🎓 He has moved mountains with his rehabilitation.

So happy for this silly little duo for landing such a fun, loving life. You may also see their faces on some new merchandise that we will be launching soon, thanks to !!

Michael is doing so well!! He is such a love bug and is a miracle baby.

He went to the vet last week and will still need to be neutered, get additional vaccines, a 4DX test, and microchipped and then he will be on his way to starting his next chapter.

The vet reported he is as sweet as can be and made a full recovery from the distemper and pneumonia that almost took his life. He does have mild trembles in his back legs, but nothing of huge concern. Due to the distemper, the enamel on his teeth revealed mild damage, which is sadly common.

Thank you everyone for making this possible. This has been one heck of a journey! ❤️

Update - adopted!🥳 Adoptable Mila is officially looking for her forever home.

Sweet Mila was rescued after running around a field at large with her siblings. After being rescued, she broke with parvo and was fighting for her little life at the ER.

Mila has since then made a full recovery and is completely vetted and spayed. She’s as cute as can be and is looking for a forever family in the greater Denver area💖

⭐️ Per her foster:⭐️
“Mila has made huge strides since coming out of the shelter and being rescued. She is now being fostered in Denver. She has transformed from timid and scared into a bubbly affectionate pup. She loves her daily walks and all the toys. She is very friendly and loves to meet new fur friends. She can hold her own with her sassy 11 year old pit foster sister. She is learning that people aren’t scary either. After she initially warms up to you, she’ll give kisses and let you rub her belly. Mila is a fine tuning her potty training, crate training, and leash skills. The perfect match would be an active household. She loves running and being outside. Probably not anyone with younger kids because she’s still learning “off” and can nip from time to time. She is very smart and needs a home that will continue her training. After playing, she will cuddle up and happily be a couch potato.”

Mila will likely be around 50 lbs full grown, although that is just an estimated guess!

Where are all the golden lovers at? Meet Dory & Nemo💛💛

Dory and her brother, Nemo, are super sweet Golden babies who were found TERRIFIED, underweight & dumped under a bridge in rural TX. A local vet found them and no owners were found, so we were contacted for help.

After being treated for coccidia and fleas, they are eagerly ready to begin their new chapter in life, to never be discarded ever again.

At just 8 weeks old, we want to continue working on positive reinforcement and positive experiences to help boost their confidence. We have no doubt they will make incredible family members.

These sweet babies have the opportunity to come to CO for a better life and are looking for adopters who will love and cherish them forever.

They need a foster to adopt, or a foster family beginning 8/30 and do not need to go together.

Dory & Nemo are very sweet, and we are looking for families who will provide them a safe environment to help them further come out of their little shells. Both are currently 8 weeks. Nemo is 20 lbs and Dory is 14 lbs.

- Adoptable in the greater Denver area only
- We are looking for adopters with kids over the age of 10 years old
- We do not adopt out siblings together due to Littermate syndrome

Binx🖤 We are so proud of this sweet girl. She really has made great progress since we first got her a few weeks ago. She even went hiking yesterday and was a champ!

While she still gets spooked a bit, she’s learning she’s safe and loved. She’s so smart and affectionate once you’ve won over her heart🥰

We’d love to find this girl a forever home with another friendly, established dog where she can continue learn how to be a cherished family member🤍

Unbelievably excited to announce….WE HAVE MERCH COMING!!!!! 🎉 It only took us almost 5 years 😂 The designs are so cute thus far and we can’t wait to share them with you!

We are finalizing some designs for the merchandise, but wanted to get your input, too. Our followers, adopters, fosters, donors, and volunteers have really helped Up Pup get to where we are today and we really appreciate you!

Emmie is doing so great and was adopted by the most incredible woman. So many of you wanted me to personally adopt her 😂, but it was just too soon after Cora passed away 💔 I love Emmie, but there was someone else who needed her more than I did🙏🏻 Her mom has had a lot of loss the past year, and Emmie has totally become her soul dog and best friend 🥺

Emmie now gets to go everywhere with her mom and on all sorts of adventures, including paddle boarding! She has a beautiful, huge backyard and two kitty siblings now. 🐱🐱

💕 Per her mama:
“She’s seriously such a good girl 🥰 I take her everywhere and she always does so well!! She loves other dogs and the kitties too. She’s such a sweet baby.“

Prior to going up for adoption, our vet noticed Emmie had a heart murmur and so we scheduled a cardiologist appointment at CSU for her to be looked at to ensure she was good to go for adoption.

☺️Good news: No structural issues, so no heart disease or anything like that. It’s most likely from stress or excitement! Healthy, happy girl.

Snoopy safely made it to Colorado last week and is doing so great in his foster home! He has the silliest and sweetest little personality; it has been a joy to see him thriving and safe. Can you believe someone dumped him at an apartment complex to fend for himself?!😔

He’s currently in a foster to adopt home, so wish him luck! This home also happens to be the neighbor of a former Up Pup alumni named Daisy, who was rescued back in 2021. They are already fast friends and love playing together.

About to go pick up this sweet girl from a local CO shelter🩷 We were notified by another local (breed specific husky) rescue who took 2 huskies that were found with this pup. She is more shepherd looking and apparently word on the streets is we love our shepherds!! 🤭

Apparently the three pups were dumped and running at large in a field. Animal control got them and no owners were found. They were filthy and covered in mats. They all broke with parvo, are done with quarantine, and ready to find homes. The other two pups were picked up by the husky rescue and are doing well.

I went and met her at the shelter yesterday and she’s so unbelievably sweet and shy. She’s around 4 months old and needs to work on some socializing, but I know she’ll get there!💪🏻

We are naming her Mila (mee-la) and she will be adoptable once we learn more about her.
