No Ruff Housing is ready to make a difference in our community (currently serving Colorado)! We are looking for generous donors who can contribute their time, talents, and/or treasure to benefit pet owners in need.

We are looking for IMMEDIATE help with installing a chain link fence to reinforce the boundary in our backyard. When this is complete, we should be able to obtain our PACFA license to offer low-cost boarding for forever families, along with support for shelter and rescue pets.

OUR PURPOSE:
The Corporation/Organization shall be operated exclusively for charitable purposes benefiting pet owners. Our organization will provide a low-cost place of sanctuary or foster care for pet owners who cannot reasonably afford pet care, or are experiencing times of crisis. Our intention is to prevent the employment of inexperienced, hobby pet care enthusiasts who may endanger the wellbeing of pets in our communities. Our Organization will provide pet care options based on the unique income situations of the pet owners. Our primary mission is to keep pets with their forever families, rather than resorting to surrendering or rehoming their pets.

Additionally, No Ruff Housing will partner with animal rescues and shelters who require temporary boarding for the overflow of our local displaced animal population. We hope this effort will create more opportunities for animal companionship.

Before Kat’s K9s was a legit operation, I started this “pet sitting thing” as a way to make extra cash in the winter, when my “real job” at was at a lull. I didn’t know that this is what would bond me to my best friend, and in turn, my dog’s best friend. I had no idea it would blossom into the success that it is today (even though my social media presence has flatlined), and it wouldn’t have been possible without and Hades.

Today, our hearts are broken and eyes burn with tears as we announce that Hades has crossed the rainbow bridge. He has joined Elvis and Greta, the founding trio of canines.

Hades, you will be remembered as the best dog friend to Elvis (and Greta, too). You worked so hard to make sure our daycare crew knew how to play in the yard and you were always the leader in our pack walks. You were your mom’s sidekick during many pet sitting gigs, and a dedicated supervisor during our shifts at Em’s.

Thank you for your hard work, Hades. We will never forget you and the legacy you left behind at Kats’s K9s. has big shoes to fill. ❤️‍🩹 🌈🐕

Have we bragged about our amazing Groomer, yet? Scrub Up Mobile Pet Wash & Grooming is the best! Elmo finally had his turn yesterday and Ben did not disappoint!

We reserve Scrub Up for a whole 8-hours at our house, where we can combine private daycare/boarding along with grooming to our customers. This is especially helpful if you are in an area that Scrub Up currently doesn’t service/doesn’t service frequently.

If you need an awesome mobile groomer, please don’t hesitate to reach out to them, and don’t forget to mention Kat’s K9s, LLC! This is not a paid promotion, we want everyone to know about this fantastic local business. Ok, I’m a little biased because I own a Saint Bernard myself, AND THEY HAVE TWO! 😍

Pro tip: if you want Scrub Up in your area but aren’t interested in combining our services with theirs; we suggest contacting a local vet or pet store who doesn’t offer grooming.
