Now that their eyes are open, the wildflowers are ready to explore! 🐾 Yesterday we introduced a "potty zone," which is a tray lined with a potty pad and pellets; talk about a new texture to muscle through! Today we added in two stuffies; momma Westie and her puppy. I absolutely love how intrigued Violet was with them. She's definitely got a nose on her, it never stops!


Who's going to be our first escapee? Only one puppy who has noticed the entrance... Any guesses as to who?! 🫣 ...

Arthur is spending Labor Day weekend with his best buds as they take care of a pigeon problem! Per his owner, "He's a world class bird dog! His eyes are always up in the air."

Naturally driven yet easy enough to be a young boy's hunting pal, Arthur embodies our breeding goals. A dog that can do a little bit of everything and wants nothing more than to be working at his owner's side.

Holy moly, these puppies are growing like WEEDS! Maybe I should have thought of that before naming them after wildflowers... Throughout my years of dog training and competing in sports, I've always heard, "Be careful what you name 'em!" 🙈

Today they weighed:
💛 Dandelion - 2lb 9oz
💙 Hemlock - 2lb 9oz
🩷 Thistle - 1lb 13oz
💚 Zinnia - 2lb 8oz
❤️ Calla - 3 POUNDS EVEN!
💜 Violet - 2lbs 10oz

Side note: Look at Violet trying to walk! She's adamant about figuring out those legs of hers. I have a feeling she's going to keep my on my toes once she does!
