Beef & Sweet Potato Kibble for Dogs 🥩🍠🐾
This Beef & Sweet Potato Kibble is a nutritious and homemade meal that your dog will love. Packed with lean protein, fiber, and essential nutrients, it’s a great alternative to store-bought kibble.

Ingredients:
1 pound lean ground beef (cooked and drained)
1 cup cooked, mashed sweet potato
1 cup cooked brown rice
1/2 cup finely chopped green beans (steamed or lightly boiled)
1/4 cup finely grated carrot
1 large egg (optional, for added binding and protein)
1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil (optional, for added moisture)
Instructions:
1. Cook the Ingredients
Ground Beef: Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned. Drain any excess fat and set aside.
Sweet Potato: Peel, cube, and boil the sweet potato until soft, then mash it with a fork or potato masher.
Brown Rice: Cook the brown rice according to package instructions.
Vegetables: Steam or lightly boil the green beans and carrots until soft.
2. Combine the Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, mashed sweet potato, brown rice, green beans, grated carrot, and egg (if using). Stir well to mix everything evenly.

3. Form the Kibble
Spread the mixture evenly onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Flatten it into a thin layer, about 1/4 inch thick.
Alternatively, use a spoon or your hands to form small, kibble-sized pieces.

4. Bake
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Bake the kibble mixture for 30-40 minutes, or until the pieces are firm and slightly crispy.
For crunchier kibble, reduce the oven temperature to 250°F (120°C) and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.

5. Cool and Break Into Pieces
Allow the baked kibble to cool completely on a wire rack. Once cooled, break it into bite-sized pieces if you baked it in a sheet.

Storage:
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Freeze in portions for up to 1 month and thaw before serving.
Benefits:
Beef: Provides lean protein, supporting muscle health and energy.
Sweet Potato: High in fiber and beta-carotene, supporting digestion and immune health.
Brown Rice: A wholesome grain offering fiber and long-lasting energy.
Green Beans & Carrot: Packed with vitamins and minerals, promoting overall health.
Egg (Optional): Adds protein and nutrients for a shiny coat.
Olive Oil: Provides healthy fats for skin and coat health.
This Beef & Sweet Potato Kibble is a balanced, tasty meal option that will keep your pup happy and healthy. Perfect as a complete meal or a topper for existing kibble. 🐕✨
