The bears are complete (I may add a few leaves) and I must say, I’m pretty proud of how they turned out. I was reluctant to take them on because I’m not familiar with bear anatomy. Never even seen one in person. But how often does an opportunity like this come along. Thank you Collin and Dick for trusting me with your trophies and helping me gain a little knowledge of these awesome creatures….. now on to deer

Haven’t posted much lately as I’ve been taking in this years work and working on the bear projects. Little bear is almost done. Just a few more minor details and I’ll post both finished products this weekend.

Had this buck in bow range for about 10 minutes Sunday morning and just couldn’t pull the trigger cause I knew he had some great potential. Double brow (which he broke off) and a split g2. Old boy made it about 15 minutes after I passed him

FYI: Blue tape indicates cut lines necessary for shoulder mounts. Had quite a few short capes last year that is easily avoidable. It’s always better to have too much than not enough
