COME CELEBRATE!

Pawsitive Principles Academy is hosting Christmas pictures with Santa or the Grinch! We will be transforming the training spaces into holiday wonderlands for you and your family (even if you don't have a furry friend) to come enjoy.

As much as we were hoping for a quick return….

Due to the flooding that our studio took, we will be closed for the remainder of the week. We will reach out individually to our clients to discuss rescheduling or offering in home sessions at no extra cost to you. Be on the lookout for calls. ❤️🐾❤️

Never underestimate your small dogs. 7 years old, never played with a ball in her life. You would have sworn that wasn’t her case at all the way she is attacking this ball. Enrichment is good for the old as well as the young. Even if it’s 2 minutes of attacking a new ball. She lays in wait now. 😂😂

I failed to get any pictures, but I would like to do a huge shoutout to those that came and helped build walls today! We now have 2 training spaces, though still incomplete, we are further than we were. And now that allows us to take on more clients!

Charlie and Maddie came to us for training for two different goals. Charlie is working to become a better listener. Maddie is working towards becoming a therapy dog. Paws up for these two on working hard on their skills! 🐾❤🐾

Jack continues to practice Service Dog skills. Here he is learning psychiatric skills Kiss and Deep Pressure. Paws up for Jack as he continues to work hard. 🐾❤🐾

Sadie is here working with us to become a Service Dog for her Mom. In order to do that, she has to go through a series of different tests and training. Today Gunner was able to help out us out to ensure that Sadie is comfortable being in the presence of another dog. Gunner can be a bit over the top, so he is kept behind the x-pen to ensure a safe and happy greeting for both dogs. This doubled down as a great training experience for Gunner as well. As we continue to work on Leave It and Engage/Disengage, he was able to practice keeping himself calm and disengaging from Sadie to reengage with me to get rewarded. Great job to both dogs in this exercise! I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome! Paws up for Gunner and Sadie! 🐾❤🐾

We are moved! Please excuse the mess and we continue to unpack and put away. But we are so excited to show you the new space!!!!

After a year and a lot of hard work….we are moving. Our clients have helped us grow so much to the point that we need a bigger space! Don’t worry, we aren’t leaving the wonderful community of De Soto though, just moving down the road. We will be at our new location for the upcoming Fall Festival where we will be doing demonstrations! Be on the look out for our Fall Festival Flyer!
