⭐️ Cold Laser Therapy ⭐️
Hello Clients & Friends, I am considering offering in home cold laser therapy sessions for your pets (including large animals) & wanted to see if there was interest.
Cold Laser Therapy has so many phenomenal benefits including analgesia & anti-inflammatory properties. It can also aid in healing open wounds as it increases circulation. This is a way to provide your pet relief, without side effects from medications.
Some of the conditions that we recommend cold laser therapy for are:
Arthritis
Post-Op Incisions & Healing
Fractures
Soft Tissue Injuries
Joint Disease
Hotspots
Lick Granulomas
Wounds

Cold laser therapy should not be used in patients with malignant cancer, or history of cancer. It also should not be used in patients who are pregnant.

Please let me know if there would be interest or if you have any questions! 😁

{ TEMPERATURES ARE RISING } — Just a friendly reminder to check the pavement prior to walking your pet! Hot pavement can do serious damage to your dog’s paws. Long, sunny days can make for great dog walking weather, but the bright sunshine can also heat up sidewalks, streets, and driveways. Here are a few tips you can do to avoid walking on hot pavement.

• Try walking in the early hours of the morning before the sun has had a chance to heat the ground too much. An evening walk near or after sunset can also reduce exposure to heated pavement.
• Specifically avoid pavement during the middle of the day or early afternoon, as these will be the times when asphalt is likely at its hottest.
• During the day, stick to grassy areas. Grass won’t be as hot as asphalt and will be much easier on the paws.
• Shady areas that are out of the direct sunlight for most of the day can also be safer, but be sure to test.
• If you can't avoid, protect. You may live in an area where grass is sparse or where you simply can’t avoid walking on pavement. If that’s the case, you should protect your dog’s paws from the heat. You can get special booties designed to keep paws safe. Use booties that are non-disposable and specifically for summer or all-terrain.

We offer nail cap applications in BOTH, cats and dogs!
If you have a pet that is scratching you or your furniture, this is a great option to reduce that!
Nail caps can also be placed on hind feet to aid senior pets in gaining traction, or for pets who cause self damage from scratching excessively.
If you have any questions or may be interested in having these applied, feel free to contact us!

Nail care is very important to your dog’s well-being. Long nails are prone to painful breaks and splitting (think of having to walk on a hung nail). They also change the foot angle, placing more stretch on the flexor tendons which can lead to injuries.

The key to teaching your dog to accept nail care is positivity. Start with short sessions, one or two nails, and lots of rewards. Praise your dog, treat them for tolerating even a touch of their feet. With time, consistency and patience, you will be able to trim and dremel your dog’s nails by yourself.

It is also important to start conditioning your pet to having their nails trimmed and ears cleaned at a young age; so they are tolerable if they have a medical issue in the future. Taking five minutes out of your day to play with your pet's ears, feet, mouth, and tail will help them in the future!

If you need help conditioning your puppy to being groomed or have a pet that is less than tolerable to basic grooming needs, we can help!

Hi everyone! My name is Danielle and I have worked in animal care for the past 6 years. I received my Associate of Science Degree in Veterinary Technology in May 2021, and received my veterinary technician certification after passing the VTNE. I decided to open this small business to offer veterinary technician services in the comfort of your own home! Does your pet get anxious in a clinic setting? Do you work a schedule that makes it difficult to make frequent trips to your clinic, for routine maintenance? If so, this may be a good option for you! I am offering basic grooming services such as baths, nail trims, ear plucking, de-matting, nail cap applications, etc. I am also offering in home treatment as prescribed by your Veterinarian. If your Vet sent you home with injections to give your pet and you aren't comfortable giving them just yet, I'm here to help! I will be servicing Santa Rosa Beach, Freeport, Destin, Niceville, and surrounding areas. Please feel free to reach out via Facebook messenger with any questions; or call/text me at 850-499-7365!
