Hello Everyone! I am a dog groomer (Swag & Shine Pet Salon) North of DL and am accepting new clients again, starting first week in April. If your furry friend even needs a bath, I’m your gal! I am currently in a program right now on becoming a Pet Esthetician so I am learning a ton on how to treat each dogs coat/skin correctly. Here is a couple pictures of the grooms I have done. I seriously have the best customers ever!!!! Shout out to Tiffany Brown for letting me have free rein on her poodles!!! We as groomers don’t get to play around with hair cuts often at all so when we do it turns into a really fun day!!! Miss Luna (cream color) got a Georgette Cut and Sir Charley (black) got a Town and Country. I still have lots to practice but slowly and surly it will be perfected!!! Thank you Tiffany!!!!!

There is something special about Bernadoodles!!! They have a way into my heart and always make me smile during the groom! Everyone this is Ripp and boy does he act like him 😉❤️🐾

Had Miss Roxy in the shop for her yearly grooming. All I can say is wow!!! Look how well my new products work! Let me tell y’all, these type of dogs are killer on groomers cuz of their coats (and honestly who as a dog wants to stand that long while I’m tugging on them) but since finding these products, I’m so excited when these dogs come into my shop!!!!! Her hind quarters brushed right out and the amount of undercoat I was able to let fall off in the bath instead of tugging with the brush on the final round just blows me away!!!! She was a doll through the whole groom too. Even laid down on the table while I was working on her and just enjoyed the loves!! 🐾❤️

Had these two beauties in today!!!! I only schedule them in one day cuz they are so much fun to groom and I use them for practice with my line work(scissor work). The black one is Sir Atlas and the white on is Miss Sadie Bug. My goal by the end of winter is to have them super duper long!
So I just put in my longest day in grooming today. Proud of my work but glad it’s finally over. The thing that made me smile and push through was getting this text message from a client I did last friday. Finding something in this occupation to be so passionate about and that is helping the dogs and owners makes me feel like I finally full filled my duties. 😉 He is my only Great Dane, everyone meet Jepson! He is a huge guy and loves to shed. So with finding this new product and continuing to learn we have been able to control the itty bitty tiny hairs that everyone knows about 🤣🐶. It’s the small things of a customer happy, the dog heathy and happy, and going home with a smile that is the best feeling!!!
Happy Sunday Funday!!!!! I had a ton of fun with this girl! Got to be a little creative and do more scissor work on her! Within the year of grooming it’s fun to look back and see the progression!!! I did a Lamb Cut on Miss Lucy. So that means she has fuller legs to match her body. A lot of dogs have really skinny long legs so it’s like creating an illusion on them. I gotta say though, Bernadoodles are turning into my favorite to groom!❤️🐾
Here is my favorite 6 pack!!! You got, Besti, Bently, Buddy, Benji, Myles Bodie, and Billy Rae. The two pups did fantastic for their first grooms! We try to keep everyone as long as possible. Bently and Buddy are both 2” hair length and Betsi is 1” 1/4” long. So basically they all are super duper fluffy doodles!!!
When we say “pack” that means its all one family. 😃
A few of the doggies I did over the past week. Honestly i love getting pictures but sometimes the time in the day doesnt allow it. They all were wonderful to groom!
We definitely have a great group here of doggos!🐾❤️🐾 They all eat out of their own bowls and don’t steal! On the side my other love is to baby sit my client dogs but as long as they fit in as family 😃. They sleep with us, walk with us, and are treated like our own!

Good Evening Everyone from your fellow groomer! This video is a few nights late, life gets a bit crazy here and there. Anywho, I got my whole crew finally groomed with all my new products!!!! So I get to see what y’all will see in the future with your own fur babies. I have a few of my own cases I get to practice with them on aolpica to allergies. So far their coats have repelled so much dirt, still soft, and the hair got cut way down in the house. I’m super excited for the future for all of you guys!!!!

SHOUTOUT to my clients today!!!! Thank you for being so patient and letting me keep your dogs longer!!! Our schedule is set up as a goal to stay on that time mark but of course there is always unforeseen circumstances that happen throughout the day. We work hard to keep the best scenario for the dogs going all day long but everyone has to remember we are working with live animals. Having scissors around their faces, asking them to stand perfectly still when they don’t speak our language, to them just having a bad day. I really shows its weight in gold to us when everyone has patience for their groomers and understands that situations do arise throughout the day we can’t control. So thank you for being the best clients!!!!!

Good Morning Everyone!!!! So, I got the lucky chance to attend my first Grooming Expo in Pennsylvania this past weekend. I learned so much there that I will be restructuring my grooming program over the next year. While I was there my fellow groomer/teacher/best friend Jordyn Glowcheski with Glow up Grooming and I attended a specific seminar for dogs skin. That one was mind blowing. We both signed up for their Pet Skin Academy to become a Pet Aesthetician. So we will be learning on how to help all of you guys with hot spots/allergies/skin infections/irritations and so much more. This whole journey will take about a year so changes won’t becoming absolutely right away, by no means. We are both so eager and excited to learn because this area is in major need of help with our dogs! Below is a video of myself explaining a little more, (f.y.i. I am not 100% politically correct cuz it was off the top of my head but I’ll get better 😆) Going forward I will be posting my case dogs on here, my groom dogs, and what is changing in the future. I will try to talk to everyone in person but I do run out of time everyday 🤦🏼♀️😁. Life of the groomer!!! So any ?’s just give me a text also!!!! Thanks!

Hello everyone! Welcome to my page! I would like to introduce myself and offer a little background information:
As life changes, I took the leap full time into pet grooming in April 2022. Finding my feet in a new occupation has tested my strengths and weaknesses. I love to have a challenge and grow in education, possibilities, and meeting all you lovely people and your doggies!! Thank you to everyone who has already trusted me with their fur babies!!
My amazing and supportive husband, Justin, and I moved up to MN in 2018 from TX. I am originally from the DL lakes area and moved south after graduation (“the grass is always greener on the other side”). Well I’m back 😆, learned my lesson, and am ready to serve the lakes area and all the the fur babies. We have 6 dogs 🐶 of our own and they love to go camping, to the lake, and come for all the car rides with us. I have always been passionate about animals and am excited to now be working everyday with them!! I treat every single animal as my own! ❤️🐾❤️
