This precious gal was found outside a friend’s apartment. She is the sweetest, smartest lil pup. Approximately 3-4 mos old, potty trained, low maintenance and very attentive. URGENT PLEA! GPAAS has reached a critical point. We carry municipal contracts for all the Grosse Pointes and Harper Woods so we must accommodate the police departments bringing in "stray"/lost animals. We are housing 30 larger unclaimed dogs with a capacity of 25, and do not have one more spot.
If you are considering adopting or fostering a larger dog, NOW is the time. IF ONE goes out, it makes room for ONE to come in. Ziggy!
Male Shih Tzu Mix - Black & White, 9 lbs, 3-5 yrs.

Ziggy is an unclaimed stray who was most likely abandoned due to his medical condition. Ziggy suffers from megasophagus and needs to be fed upright. He gets along well with other dogs and is a happy, affectionate companion.

Banjo (male) & Blackberry (female)
8 month old, siblings (born approximately 4-6-22)

These 2 kittens came to GPAAS as very shy & fearful strays. After living in a foster home for a few months, they are now happy and playful kittens. Banjo is a talkative meower; Blackberry has a cute squeak. They are still shy at first with new people, but soon they will greet you at the door when you come home. They get along fine with the resident 7 yr old cat; unknown with dogs.

Call GPAAS at 313-884-1551 or email at [email protected] to ask about an appointment to see these black beauties. They can be adopted separately, but they get along so well together, it would be great to adopt them as a pair. You will never have to worry about keeping them entertained.

These black panthers are ready for play and purring. Blackberry & Banjo are 5 mth old littermates--they look alike, but Blackberry is a petite girl compared to her brother, Banjo. They have really become playful, friendly kittens in their new foster home after starting out as shy strays. We'd like to adopt them together because they play all the time, and take naps together, but they probably would each do well with another young playful kitten or cat.
