Our Heathen Homestead We are a small family operated homestead, Currently growing in the Detroit Metro Area. Think Urban garden beds, rabbit pens, and a few chickens running about.

All to the backdrop of inner city 96 traffic.

Bottle feeding bunnies isn't for the weak.
I lost my English Angora Doe
When the babies were 3 days old.
Likely a calcium deficiency.
And by trying to add the orphans
to the litter my Flemish Giant just had.......
We caused her to abandon the entire nest.
Mistakes are made....
Lessons were learned 💔😭
The hard way 🥺
But.... Successes were also found.
I'll call that a win🤷🏼‍♀️
