Our little boy has been sick and in the hospital so I haven't got to update everyone. We had our first babies of 2025 at the farm 💜🐐on Sunday Poppy gave us beautiful triples unfortunately one did not make it through birth :( but her other 2 beautiful girls are doing amazing 🙌 then this morning at 6:45am Tilly had 2 beautiful girls 🙌 so we now have 4 new beautiful Mini Nubian girls on the farm 💜🐐🐐🐐🐐💜
Poppys are both moon spotted and one has blue eyes.
Tilly had a tri colored with roaning and a deep red with roaning in her shoulders BOTH with blue eyes.

These girl are at their due dates so we could have babies any time now ! Stripped the stall today and putting down new shavings in a few minutes 💜

Even though i am still VERY mad at this boy for rubbing his face and neck down to almost bald in places and doing a hack job on the rest with the barbwire on the H brace.😡😡😡. I have to share how much this dude has matured from the day we got him November 5th to now. He is maturing so nice 😍😍😍 he's out with the girls now and we can't wait to see Maui babies in November hopefully!!!

Doc Holiday x Chantilly Lace babies are going to be born within the next month 🥳🥳 last 2 photos are of their Dec 2023 - 1 year old Doeling "Princess Minnie"
We also have 2 more does bred to Doc due between Feb 3rd and mid March.

YELLOW WITH WILD TYPE (he does has visible brindling as well) I've always wanted to have a yellow brindle bull and I am soooo blessed this boy is exactly what I wanted 😍😍😍😍

In lousiana we don't get snow....we get mud...and LOTS OF IT ....im complaining about how disgusting all the animals and pastures are....and here is Reaux finding the deepest spot to hang out in 🫣😶🙃🫠

Maui went out with the ladies today 🙌🙌 ...they were all jerks to him except Jolene 🤣 everyone else tried to pick fight with him🫠🫠 after a good bit of being bullied by the girls he went to the gate and called and called for me in his deep rubbling call trying to get me to come take him back to then other barn 🤣i did not cave🤣 now all is well and they have finally all settled down.

Our beautiful boy ITS MAUI TIME "Maui" made a trip down to Continental Genetics, LLC in Livonia, Lousiana (they were sooooo kind !!! Really great staff and owners !) for his first collection 🥳🥳🥳 he was such a good boy and got to come right back home. They will call us tomorrow and let us know how many straws we have and then I will post how many we will have available to the public 🥳🥳 I am soooo excited to see all the Maui babies next year 😁😁😁😁😁😁

267 days down about 78 more to go. Jewels ( My Jewels Are Missin) is looking LARGE with that Aint Seen Nothin Yet baby belly ! She's also been on a forage based diet for about a year now and to simplify feed time, we switched to Unbeetable Feeds Unbeetable Complete around the first of December. I am SOOO please at how she (and all of mine ) are looking on it ! She is normally fat but never gets much of a full top line and she's ways kind of been that way even before retirement. But she looks FABULOUS now !

Baby Butters got weaned Friday,we gave him yesterday to decompress and today we did a tiny bit of leading and brushing. He is doing AMAZING ! Going to be hard to see this boy go at the end of the month. But he has a fantastic home waiting for him 💙 #vcrossfarm #highland #scotishhighlands

2024 has been a blessed year ! V Cross Farm Welcomed: 4 mini cows babies (Blu, Stoney, Posie and Butters) 3 new Highland Cows (Charlotte, Jolene and Magnolia) 1 foal (Aint He Good "Jireh") We are so excited for 2025 and cannot wait to meet the beautiful new babies we will welcome this coming year. We have truly been blessed 💙
