⭐️ We have TWO returning classes coming up! ⭐️

PUPPY FUNDAMENTALS;
For pups from fully vaccinated until 6 months beginning April 22nd 10am-11am every Saturday for 5 weeks.

PUPPY COLLEGE;
From 6 months to a year beginning April 22nd 11.30am-12.30pm every Saturday for 5 weeks.

Topics covered are Loose lead walking, recall, marker word systems & communication, socialisation & exposure, drop/out, leave it, basic & more advanced obedience (& under higher distraction for the older pups!) play skills, engagement, & much more.

🌟 We have a few spaces left for our next Pup College course beginning Saturday February 11th, 11.30am-12.30pm. Classes run for 5 consecutive weeks! 🌟

This course is for pups aged 6m to a year. Topics covered are marker word systems & communication, recall, loose lead walking, impulse control under distraction, general obedience, reward systems & much more!

If your pup attended our puppy classes this is the next step up or if you didn’t & are having problems with your adolescent dog please get in touch to book on or ask any further questions!

*Please note; these classes are designed to increase engagement with the owner & teach some neutrality towards other canines, so no dog-dog play takes place*

Focusing on building positive communication systems, building relationships & raising well socialised, exposed & secure Pups as well as teaching the beginnings of strong obedience skills.

- Pup College. ( Saturdays 11.30 - 12.30pm)
For pups aged 6 months to a year, building on what they already know & curbing adolescence!

- Reactivity Classes. (Saturday mornings, 9.30am - 10.30am)
Teaching you & your dog the skills you need to overcome reactivity. 1-1 session is required before attending.

The one I know a lot of you have been waiting for!

⭐️ REACTIVITY CLASSES⭐️ are starting on November 5th. Courses will run weekly on a Saturday morning at 10am for 4 consecutive weeks.

The main focus will be giving you the owner the handling & lead skills needed to combat reactivity under the distraction of each other, as well as learning & understanding solid marker systems, training techniques & improvement in relationship.

In order to attend this class, for safety reasons, you must have either completed a 1-1 session with me already within the last 6 months, or complete one before the classes start to be eligible. This is so I can ensure the safety of all attending.

Spots are extremely limited so please get in touch to book on!

⭐️ PUP COLLEGE CLASS ANNOUNCEMENT ⭐️

We have a new group class for older pups beginning on the 23rd of this month to be held on Friday evenings in Preston for 5 consecutive weeks.

This class is for pups aged 6-12 months on start date & we’ll be strengthening things like heel work, recall, communication & marker systems, stronger more reliable obedience & neutrality to others. This is ideal for anyone that completed our Puppy classes but if you didn’t, you’re still welcome!

I have 5 spaces left so please get in touch asap with any questions, price, or to book on - the spots will likely go quickly! If you’re unsure if this class is suitable for your dog please reach out for a chat.

Bilbo!

The little pocket rocket with the mind speed of 100mph has learnt to control his impulses, be calm in the van, perfected his recall completely off lead/longline & has brushed up on his polite play skills with other members of the pack as well as being able to calmly Co-exist with them all too.

He still likes to try to creep forward when I blink during group sit stays & if there’s a slight bit of mud lurking anywhere you can guarantee he’ll be in it but what a fun boy you are Bilbo! Congratulations on the progress you’ve made in 3 months! 😍

Every bit of food being hand-fed this week with obedience work due to reduced outside time in this heat.

I challenge you all to teach your dog something new (or strengthen something they already know!) this week whilst the lovely weather lasts!

Please keep your dogs inside & safe, walk them early & late & educate yourself on the signs & symptoms of heatstroke!

Puppy class student Bobby who has made so much progress in just one week with his stays (inclusive of duration, distance & distraction) & with his heel work! It’s all coming together nicely already at such a young age! 🤩

Using an already well conditioned clicker, some good tasty stuff & some patience - Parker learnt this evening that putting his face in to a muzzle doesn’t need to be stressful, it actually feels quite good.

The clicker & food helped to build positive associations, but the main focus point was for him to move in to the muzzle himself, no forwards movement from me.
I wasn’t sure how far we were going to get with this this evening but the trust we’ve already built in each other went a long way. Not only that but I’m pretty stoked that this guy now has a food drive that enabled me to even do this, because when we met, we didn’t even have that to work with.

Puppy class student Winston joined a Dogminded pack walk today & I was SO impressed with him.

To see my students smashing their training & being so confident & polite in real life situations is the best reward as a teacher, & exactly my goal for my puppy class students.

HUGE well done to Winston’s family for keeping up with his training - the hard work is really, really showing!

& as always thank you to my pack for being the best! He learnt a lot from you all today! ❤️
