Time to come back in the barn. Vacation is over. Time to get that black beautiful hair back and put some weight back on. He’s been running the other boys around in the pasture. The good news is that he is still fit after about a month off. He worked great today and we went a little faster. Gonna start adding speed and go exhibition as soon as I get my truck back this week from the shop. Excited about this boy!

I sure hope we can make your Brother proud of us Snoop. Today we laid his older brother Bruno to rest. Along with their besty Sheldon. The 2nd pic is older brother Bruno that looks like Snoop and their best friend Sheldon. I know he will miss them as much as I do. Snoop really reminds me a lot of his brother, so I truly am excited about him as Bruno had to be retired at 8 year young. He was 11 today. They both go left, Bruno was dark brown not black but they both had little white. Kiss and hug your horses tight tonight. I know I did today.

Back to work after a little break. I was sick for a few weeks and turned him out. He’s now a little sun faded. Got adjusted, new shoes and now back to work this week. He also got a good bath after we rode. Time to start hauling weekly and getting ready for Nov

Now that’s talented right there 🤣. I love a good horse that will back up to the wall and put it in a pile (literally). I wonder if I just put a bucket in his stall if I could train him to use it? 🤔

Took Snoop to exhibition last night. He hasn’t been anywhere since May. I think he’s had 3 exhibitions this year but to the right barrel. This was his first time to exhibition going to the left barrel first. It may have been a little wild, 😜 but that’s to be expected at first. He was watching all the people at the first. I think he will settle down and work like he does at home in no time, he’s only been going left for 3 weeks. I grabbed him at the 2nd instead of letting him work, so that one was my fault.
His sister had him a little wound up last night as well, peeing at him 🙄. He’s figuring out what he is 😉

We played with going left yesterday. Not sure which way we will end up going but for his first day it wasn’t horrible lol. If anything, it will make him more solid in the long run to be able to go both ways

3 siblings all tied on one side. Snoop could care less about them (he’s at the end of the trailer looking off) we went to an outdoor pen where it was dry to work the barrels. Off to go there again today to beat the heat
