Way to go Kilo! Welcome🥰

Introducing K9 Kilo! 🐾

We’re excited to announce the newest member of our team — K9 Kilo! After officially completing his training last month, Kilo is now certified as a dual-purpose K9 with a specialty in narcotics detection. He’s got a nose for the job and a heart full of energy!

Kilo is already making his mark. In just a few short weeks on patrol, he’s been deployed multiple times during night shift and has already had a successful track — locating a suspect who fled from the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office. We can already tell he’s passionate about (he’s going to fit right in).

When he's off duty, Kilo enjoys his toys, hotdogs, and, of course, spending time with his handler, Officer Osentoski.

What a wonderful group of dogs doing incredible work in our community.

✨ If you and your dog love people, volunteering as a therapy dog team or educational comfort dog pair can be an incredibly rewarding experience. This class will help you and your dog prepare to visit schools, hospitals, senior residences, and more!

This is an advanced-level course. We strongly recommend your dog has completed Beginning and Intermediate training or has achieved Canine Good Citizen level of skill.

Dogs displaying reactivity or fear-based behaviors may be dismissed and referred to a more suitable class.

A perfect fit for first-time dog owners, rescue dogs, or pups needing basic training! Learn the foundations using positive reinforcement, clicker training, and free shaping — no corrections or harsh methods.
🔹 Lecture-only the first night (no dogs)
🔹 Small class size = more one-on-one support

🐶 Click to Calm: Transform Your Dog’s Reactive Behavior
🕔 Tuesdays, 5:15–6:15 PM | July 15 – August 19 (6 weeks)
Does your dog bark or lunge at new people or things? Help them learn calm, focused behavior in a controlled setting using reward-based methods.
🔹 Visual barriers and a small group format
🔹 Harness/head collar and 6-ft leash required

🐶 Canine Good Citizen – Clicker Style!

Prepare for the official CGC title in this advanced course led by certified evaluator Dawn E. Archer! Learn advanced leash skills, calm greetings, polite behavior in crowds and around dogs, and more.
