⭐️Highlights from the WPHA A rated show:

✈️ Flight and Lauren Hartwig took home champion in the low junior jumpers. Winning 3/4 classes along with the classic!

✨Rf Estella and Zoe Onwuzulike were champion in the .90 jumpers with great rounds!

🌶️ Matador and Caelan Bell were champion in the take 2 Tb jumpers!

🦈 Law and Order and Kacie Gall were champion in the .70 jumpers and placed 4th in the 2ft/2’6 derby!

🤍Ponder and Emily Alinen were champion in the young hunters 2’9 with very consistent rounds!

💖Very Special and Cassandra Miller were reserve champion in the .90 jumpers! This was their first outing together!

🏖️ Sand Dollar and Lilly Chaiten put down some great rounds in the low childrens along with placing 2nd in the 2’6 derby!

🐯Tiger Lily and Elise Lozier put down some amazing rounds in the low juniors with great placing and finished 3rd in the classic! They also did the children’s eq and were reserve champion!

✅ It’s Agreed and Mia Conti also put down some amazing rounds in the low junior jumpers placing 5th in the classic with their best round yet! This was her last show before college!

🦁 De Majestiet Z and Lauren Hartwig played hunters for the weekend in the 3’3/3’6 performance hunters with beautiful rounds. It was also this teams first National hunter derby finishing in the ribbons!

🔥🔥HOT OFF THE PRESS🔥🔥

Our group of riders had a fantastic time during the opening and closing weeks of the Chagrin Hunter jumper classic. Thank you for putting on a great show!

🦁De Majestiet Z and Lauren Hartwig were champion in the 1.10M division and second in the open 1.10M classic on Saturday! Reserve champion in the second week and competed in his first Prix with Emily Alinen!

✈️Flight and Lauren Hartwig were champion of the 1.0M division and placed third in the open 1.10M classic! They also took home to champion the second week, winning 3/4 classes with the fastest time in the classic but one down in the jump-off!

✅It’s Agreed, and Mia Conti put down some great rounds in the .85-.90 for the second time ever in the jumpers! They also stepped up to the meter for the second week, put down some fantastic rounds, and made massive progress in the jumpers!

🌶️Matador and Caelan Bell put down some great rounds in the 1.0M division and placed fourth in the open 1.10M classic! It was also their first time showing at that height! During the second week they were champion in the thoroughbreds and placed fourth in their first 1.15M classic!

🎶Legato Fcf and Presley Goble put down some beautiful rounds in the novice rider. This was their first show together! During the second week they were champion in the novice rider winning all of their classes!

💥Javall SH and Cassandra Miller put down some nice rounds in the .85 jumpers!

🪿Talk to me Goose and Francis Donlon had some very consistent rounds in the short stirrups! Francis and Maverick continued to put down great rounds in the short stirrup and are making tremendous progress!

🦈Law and Order and Kacie Gall had grand rounds in the .70-.75 jumpers, making huge progress together! Kacie and Ziggy continued to put down great rounds in the .75-.80 classes!

🐚Sand Dollar and Lilly Chaiten put down some amazing rounds in the USHJA 2’9 and showed in the low children's 2’6! They won the low children's under saddle out of a very competitive group and placed 8th in the non-prob 2’6 derby!

🐯Tiger Lily and Elise Lozier competed in the .85-.90 division, putting down some great rounds, and won the classic!

🤍Ponder and Emily Alinen stepped up to the very green hunters and put down some fantastic rounds along with xtraordaire WCF and Emily Alinen taking champion in the beginning jumpers.

🥕Miracle Smilie received 3rd place in the hunter grooms class, presenting Ponder.

🤠Nick Swanson received 3rd place in the jumpers groom class, presenting Matador.

SSE would like to congratulate Isabelle Kaufman on a great show at the Jr. Hunter Championship at Flint field in Traverse City. Latoulong Z “Dunkin” and Isabelle worked hard and met so many personal goals. Although these athletes have not been with us long, we could not be more proud of them and their accomplishments. Not to mention such a fun time at a great location. Congratulations to both and we are proud to work with Dunkin and Isabella in the upcoming years.
A huge Thank you to Houdini Farm for helping us week 1 at TCHS as well as helping us get to the ring this week and so much more.

Week two at Split Rock Hunter Jumper 2 CSI 3* was another very successful show! Everyone rode amazingly and we all had a blast! The Kentucky temperatures were very high but that didn’t stop any of our riders nor horses!

🐚Sand Dollar and Lilly Chaiten put down some incredible rounds in the low childrens and in the 2’9! Taking reserve champion in the low childrens along with the win in the under saddle!

🌶️Matador and Caelan Bell took home champion in the take 2 Tb along with a fourth place finish in the 1.0M junior classic!

✈️Flight was piloted by Caelan Bell and put down some great rounds in the .85s and took home second in the classic!

🦈Law and Order and Kacie Gall put down some awesome rounds in the .60s and got 4th in the classic!!

❌Xtraordinaire WCF and Emily Alinen put down some amazing rounds in the .70s winning on Saturday!

🧡 Ponder and Emily Alinen stepped up to the baby greens this week and finished with ribbons!!

Everyone had a great time and it’s off to Jr. hunter finals in Traverse city,Mi. Backed by the Chagrin Hunter Jumper Classic which holds as the first ever Grand Prix to be held in the Untied States.
We are so proud of our riders, the team work, and to call Cleveland home!!!

Split Rock Hunter Jumper 1 CSI 2* was a very successful show for our group of riders! Everyone rode amazing, goals were met and surpassed. So many accomplishments happened this week!

✈️Flight and Lauren Hartwig were champion in the 1.0M junior/ ameture class sweeping the division with a first Friday out of 37 and on Saturday a win out of 57, then on Sunday with a classic win out of 44. Flight also set a record time for the course! She’s also currently for sale. 😜

🐑 It’s Agreed and Mia Conti started doing the jumpers together for the first time and were very successful with it! Putting down some great clean rounds in the .85 jumpers!

🌶️Matador and Caelan Bell were champion in the TAKE2 Tb jumpers with a first and second. They also had a fourth place finish in the 1.0M jumpers on Friday!

🦁De Majestiet Z and Lauren Hartwig put down some great rounds in the combined junior/ameture 1.10 class with a 5th place and a fourth in the classic!

🦈Law and Order and Kacie Gall had an awesome show. This was Kacie’s second week back to riding, after working the winter in Wellington. She put down some great rounds in the .60 jumpers on Ziggy!

🍩Latoulong Z and Isabelle Kaufman put some amazing rounds down in the junior hunter 3’3”. Along with an 8th place finish in the junior hunters classic!

🪿Talk to Me Goose and Frances Donlan put down some awesome rounds in the short stirrups and looked adorable!

🐚Sand Dollar and Emily Alinen put down some great trips in the USHJA hunter 2’6” with a 5th place finish out of 26 people over fences and a second place undersaddle!

This was by far a great week for everyone. We are now onto week two, and are proud of everyone and couldn’t ask for a better group of riders or staff!!!

Flight is currently showing at SRJT until 6-16-2024. She has won her classes all week so far with a youth rider and would love to find her next home. Not enough good things can be said about this easy going mare.

Stepping Stone Equine’s Brave Horse show was a huge success!!! It was a small but mighty group with a lot of great rides!! Congratulations to everyone who showed!!

🎩 Lordas 4 and Emily Alinen won first place in the $5000 USHJA National Hunter Derby with scores of 87 & 90.

💫 RF Estella and Zoe Onwuzulike were Champion in the .90-.95 jumpers and were 4th in the .95 Novice Child/Adult Jumper Classic

🚀 Flight and Remy Daloise had amazing rounds in the .90-.95 jumpers winning multiple seconds and were 5th in the .95 Novice Child/Adult Jumper Classic.

🐂 Matador and Caelan Bell were Reserve Champion in the 1.00-1.05 Take 2 Thoroughbred Jumpers, won the .95 Novice Child/Adult Jumper Classic, and won Reserve Champion in the .90 Novice Child/Adult Jumpers.

🎀 Ponder and Emily Alinen were Champion in the Future Hunters.

Overall it was a great weekend, with fun had by all. The support of competitors, riders that couldn’t make it and team members at home keeping the barn and horses moving smoothly is beyond words and much appreciated!! To everyone, great job!! We look forward to the next away show.

Chagrin valley farms A’ rated show was a success!

✈️ Flight and Lauren Hartwig took home reserve champion is the .95s and had amazing rounds!

🦁De majestiet Z and Lauren Hartwig also took home reserve champion in the 1.10 junior jumpers and were series champion for their division!

🌶️Matador and Caelin Bell were reserve champion in the meter and were serious champion for the meter!

🏝️Sand dollar and Lilly chaiten took home reserve champion in the low childrens along with reserve champion in the 2’9!

🐯Tiger Lily and Elise Lozier put down some great rounds in the low children’s!

🔱 Casmir and remy Deloise had some great rounds in the .95s and Caz and Emily Flykt had a great time in the 2 foot!

🪿Talk to me Goose and Francis Donlon had a great first show on Maverick and put some great rounds in the short stirrup!

Overall our riders made so many improvements and had a great time and we are now off to brave horse this week!!

-Our lesson show barn is located in Newbury,Ohio. With gentle rolling hills, ample pastures, a beautiful lighted outdoor. Take in the views of the pond and fields as you ride around. For the days you just want to relax take a ride on one of the many groomed trails. And come winter or those rainy days just move inside to the indoor.

-Whether you are an aspiring rider or an experienced equestrian we aim to work with every horse and rider at their own comfort level and pace. Not one size fits all.

-For those that show we do attend several shows a year between Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Michigan etc.

What a fantastic way to wrap up a winter WEC series!!! So many accomplishments from all of our riders. We couldn’t be more proud of everyone and can’t say enough good things about the horses, riders, help, even WEC staff included not to mention our staff at home for keeping that going. A HUGE congrats to all!!! 🏅🐴

🐴 Sand Dollar and Lilly Chaiten put down incredible rounds in the low childrens and won the HJAM low childrens medal along with with winning the 2’6 non-pro derby out of 33 entries with scores of 87 and a 90!

🐴Flight was piloted by Lauren Hartwig and was 5th in the .95 classic out of 27 entries!

🐴De Majestiet Z and Lauren Hartwig put down awesome rounds in the 1.10 junior jumpers and were third in the 1,500 junior jumper classic!

🐴Tiger Lily and Elise Lozier had beautiful rounds in the low childrens and were fourth in the medal!

🐴It’s agreed and Mia Conti laid down nice rounds in the non pro 2’9!

Overall our group had a great time and we are so proud of everyone!

Since 2007 Stepping Stone Farm now Stepping Stone Equine has called Chagrin Valley Farm home. Today we have a new home in Newbury Ohio!! This move provides us with the ability to provide more lessons, a sale horse program and focus on the quality of care for horses and clients as we feel is so important. So many memories at CVF which shall not be forgotten but excited for what is to come!!!

As we announced earlier this week about our move we wanted to share more info.
Our new facility is located at 10790 Pekin Road Newbury, OH. and sits on 60 acres which offers groomed trails, a beautiful outdoor lighted arena that as you ride take in the views of a large pond backed by picturesque views of one of two 6-acre pastures for overnight turnout.
-Several larger daily turn out assigned pastures.
-Two large outdoor paddocks.
-Dedicated grooming areas
-An indoor arena with newer footing.
-Added bonus all NEW Jumps. Why not?
-Warm room/Lounge with views to the indoor arena.
-Indvidual lockers for clients.
-Secure daily lockers (for the things you don't want to carry around but want secured)

-Top quality feed
-Matted aisles.
-In house local transportation.

🐴🐴 💥 Stepping Stone has some big and exciting news!! 🐴🐴💥
We set out last year with one main goal and that was quality service, to better ourselves and our program to help our clients and horses excel with their goals.
We will be moving our Cleveland area location the end of March. This presents us with a lot more opportunities and flexibility in our program and allows us to have the quality we strive for. This decision was not easy, however, it is the next “Stepping Stone” in our journey .
We thank the CVF team for their years of dedicated service!!

Week 9 at WEC was a very successful show for our group! We couldn’t be more proud of everyone’s accomplishments and hard work, along with the horses being great as always.✔️

▪️Legato Fcf and Emily Alinen received reserve champion in the USHJA hunters!

▪️Coconut and Francis Donlon placed reserve champion in the short stirrup! Also, they came in 🥇in the short stirrup classic (first round) with a score of 83!

▪️Flight and Emily Alinen put down excellent rounds in the .70s alongside the .80s, finishing in the clear blues!

▪️De Majestiet Z and Lauren Hartwig had a fantastic week in the 1.10 junior jumpers, receiving a 🥈in the speed and a 🥉along with a 🥉in the 1.15 jumper classic!

▪️Sand Dollar and Lilly Chaiten had a great week, with a 5th and 8th in the low children’s. And received 5th u/s out of a large class!

▪️Ff Laudric and Margaret Suntken had a great week putting down great rounds in a competitive in the older childrens. They received a 5th in the children’s hunter classic (first round) and a 5th in the children’s eq! They also received an 8th-place finish in the children’s hunter classic!

Overall, we had a fantastic time and cant wait for the next show!!🩷🤩🐴
