She now has 30 rides under her belt and is heading to Helena as a future mountain and hunting horse! We can’t wait to watch your journey together!!

Pepe will be available to a great home upon weaning this December! This little jack is FULL of personality and wants to be in your pocket. He is great around kids and has been handled since birth. Pepe is out of our 30.5” registered jack Short & Sweet Night Light (Tyrion) and Poppy, a 32” unregistered chocolate brown Jenny. Pepe would make a great future herd sire, or can be gelded and make an excellent companion.
Pepe loves to play and would do best in a home with at least one other donkey. Please pm for more info!

Pioneer Mountain Ranch is proud to offer Maya, a 4 year old double registered Iberian Warmblood/ American Azteca mare. She currently measures 15.2hh. Maya has been ridden both English and Western, but we think she has the greatest potential to be a dressage, eventing or working equitation horse. She has three beautiful and forward gaits, is soft in the bridle and is starting to work on lateral movements. She is a smart and confident mare, is great riding outside, either alone or in a group. She has no buck, but she is a sensitive horse with a lot of energy and would be best suited for a confident rider that is committed to a training program, or a professional looking for their next horse to take up through the levels.

Maya loves attention and is always the first to greet you at the gate. She has lived in a mixed herd the past two years, and tends to be higher up in the pecking order, but has never gotten buddy sour. She is just as happy living alone in a stall setting. She is easy to haul, stands for the farrier, and UTD on vaccines and worming.

We are so excited to announce the new addition of Lena’s Pl***oy Magic! He is a senior stallion (23 years young) and an own son of Freckles Pl***oy out of a daughter of Doc o Lena! Pl***oy is an NCHA money earner with limited showing and was PCCHA Futurity Open Semi-Finalist and an Idaho Futurity Open Finalist in 2003. Well one Dandi just wasn't enough! This little filly is an own daughter of 1 million dollar sire HRR Cat King Cole (LTE 230k) by High Brow Cat x Uno Del Rey, and Lena Dual Dandi by Rey Dual...not to mention a granddaughter of our supermare Legends Dandi Lena! Cant wait to welcome little Dandi Junior here this fall!

I’m excited to announce that “Big Skye Dandi Cat” has found the best home possible with Kyla at Pioneer Mountain Ranch just outside Dillon MT. She will be accompanied by her grand-dam! 😍

We officially have a Vaquero baby on the way! Kids Lil Diamond (Barbie) was confirmed today! Vaquero enjoying a well earned afternoon bath and graze. Can’t wait to see his babies next year!

This two year old draft cross filly is still available! Scarlett has been on the back burner because she is just so gentle. She was so easy to halter break as a weanling that she’s been turned out being a horse ever since. Today was her first real day of training and she handled everything like an old pro! Stay tuned for her first ride coming up later this week! Scarlett should mature around 15.2, she would make a fantastic trail, hunting or ranch horse.

We have a VERY exciting new addition! We have finally added a stallion to our breeding program.. meet Vaquero!
Very Smart Vaquero is a son of Very Smart Remedy and Rey’s Spark (Shining Spark). He was a
Snaffle Bit Futurity Open Finalist in 2017 with Todd Bergen, and then continued his show career as a bridle horse in the Non Pro with an LTE of $12,800. He is now 9 years old and due to an injury is ready to start his breeding career with us! He will be breeding a couple of our mares this year, and will stand to the public starting next spring.

2 year old red roan draft cross with the puppy dog personality that everyone is looking for. She is gentle, in your pocket and has been very easy to work with so far. She is halter broke and easy to catch. We are planning on starting her later this summer so snag her now before her price goes up!

“Clara” is a beautiful dark bay roan AQHA yearling filly that is looking for her new home! This filly is very sweet and friendly, always the first to greet you out in pasture. She was born and raised in our steep and rocky pastures, so she is a tough gal that has good hard feet and knows how to navigate rough terrain. She should mature 15hh+ and is 5 panel negative through parentage.

Flashy black yearling draft cross gelding. This c**t has has a ton of bone and is very athletic. He is not going to be your typical d***y plow horse, he is more on the sensitive side and would make an outstanding rope or ranch horse. Deets is sired by Big Sky Blue Apache, a Hancock bred 16.1 hand quarter horse, and by our 15.2 hand Belgian/ Halflinger mare.

Deets spent this winter out in pasture, and we just pulled him in last week to start working with him on groundwork and handling his feet. He is a very quick learner and wants to please.

Maya was very happy to finally get out of the indoor arena. This week has been the first time riding outside in almost 6 months!
Maya is a 4 year old registered Iberian Warmblood. She has been coming along nicely this winter and would make an excellent dressage prospect. She is currently available! She will stay in training until she finds the perfect home.
