Cavalcade of Kittens! Four youngsters, rescued at only two weeks of age, after their mom died. They've been hand raised with loving care and now, at 5 weeks old, are healthy and spirited. It won't be long before they will be ready for their forever homes. FYI - 2 grey and white kittens are boys; the black and white one and the striped one are girls.

These little orphans lost their momma when she was killed on the road by a car. They are very sweet and will be needing homes when they are old enough. It is a special time when a shelter dog finds their forever home but it's extra special when a senior that has been over looked due to age finally finds their forever family. This year these 3 girls found their special family and we couldn't be happier for them ❤️❤️❤️

Our sincere condolences to the Frye family. Ten years ago they came to Hounds' Haven to adopt a dog we had rescued from a bad situation. They named her Bailey and she began her new life at their Columbus home. Bailey crossed the rainbow bridge this week and is so missed by her family. These pictures show her on adoption day at Hounds' Haven and 10 years later at her happy home. R.I.P. Bailey Frye. Your family says you were the best dog ever.💙

***A Tale of Two Dogs*** One has had his happy ending; the other is hoping for his. Read on to find out how you can help. The black dog is Tracker, a handsome Lab who was the victim of a "hit and run" accident, which has shattered some of his limbs and possibly his pelvis. His loving family is devastated and cannot pay to save his life. Hounds' Haven, along with WeBark Estates is stepping up to help. He has been taken to OSU Veterinary Hospital for a surgical evaluation, which will cost $2,000 alone. The costs for surgery could run up to $8,000. We want to give Tracker a chance to be happy and healthy again. Can you help? And why would we want to do this? That's where our tale turns to the brown dog. He's "Oliver Blue," another handsome boy who suffered the same types of injuries this year, and was surrendered to Hounds' Haven. Many of you stepped up to assist with the costs of his treatment and we're proud to say this picture of Oliver Blue shows him relaxing in his new forever home! When we were pulling pictures of Tracker from our phone, this picture of Oliver Blue popped up on our camera roll. That's the sign we needed that told us helping Tracker is the right thing to do. We know that Oliver Blue sent us that sign. Can you help us now to give Tracker the same happy ending as Oliver Blue? Checks will go strictly for Tracker's surgery and care.
