I have decided to offer this 2023 filly to a new pasture. O’Malley is halter broke, friendly, stands tied, has had her feet trimmed multiple times. She will be an awesome all around prospect for someone.

Breeding season has been successful so far! 2 mares checked in foal, and 1 is turned out with the stud until the end of the month. Very thankful for an awesome vet team and mares that are easy to breed 😅 Both mares took on the first try with frozen semen. These babies should be great prospects! Already looking forward to 2025!

Rayn gave me a beautiful c**t to end foaling season 2024 for Salty S. She knocked it out of the park for her first baby. Her daddy is an own son of Panther Mountain, and also has names such as Special Effort and Raise Your Glass in his pedigree, so this c**t is destined to be a fast one. Excited for his future!

I am blessed and thankful for three healthy babies on the ground and some amazing mamas taking care of them. Here’s to their future and watching them grow into their own!

Easy had a beautiful little filly for Salty S last night! This is the first Joker baby since adding him to the program last spring and I couldn’t be more happy with how she turned out!

The long wait is finally over! Bailey decided to give me a beautiful little filly last night. She was so proud to show me her this morning, she walked right up to me with her 🥰 I love this mare and I love her babies, no matter the sire.

This is probably the first time in a long time that I’ve actually had trouble picking out both a barn name and a registered name. 😅 To be determined…regardless, welcome to the Salty S herd, little one 💚

The not so fun and pretty part of owning horses. It’s not a matter of if, but when they’ll try to hurt themselves (and succeed in doing so)🤦‍♀️….Mayhem decided to do baby horse things and get himself into some trouble. He’s all stitched up and on some antibiotics and pain meds now so here’s to hoping for a quick and full recovery 🤞

A little round pen work.

It’s not perfect but I won’t complain as it’s only his second time ever in a round pen learning to move his feet in the direction I ask him. Also. Trying to do this with one hand and video with the other is not easy 😅
