What an exciting kid crop we had this year !! We are consigning this Carry the Boats kid to the Bounds Customer Appreciating Sale. Lot 23. He is a stout one with lots of upper shape but still remains true and square to the ground. Make sure to follow the sale this weekend. CCI.live will be providing the on line auction. Walton Webcasting will be in house for an online preview following the Red Tie Live sale.

2023 PA Farm Show
Three of our PA Farm Show goats shown by Blake Bear, Sophia Zambinini and Brody Dull. Blake won his class and also won his Division, Sophia took 2nd in class behind the goat that was Grand overall, and Brody also took 2nd in a tough class.

Went to the Almost Heaven Classic Jackpot Show in WV on Saturday. Anna took a 1st in her light weight class with one our weathers from our Godfather bred buck and a doe purchased from Miller out of Pig. Aubrey took a 1st in her heavy weight class with a doe that is from a Miller buck, Yankee , that we AI'd to a doe out of Godfather. Both made the final drive and Anna took a 5th overall.

Our first goat to be shown at the PA Farm Show. Brody Dull from Somerset County took a second in class with a 93 lb wether from our farm. Couldnt make the trip to the Farm Show with the second group of does kidding, hopefully producing more to make it in 2023. Thanks to Forest for placing him and Brodys dad and Forest for getting him

Thanks to the Dull family for showing a goat from our farm at the North American Livestock Expo in Louisville KY. In class 10 Brody took a 3rd in class out of 16 goats.

4 Winds Boer Goats had a good day at the Westmoreland Showdown. This was an event to replace our fair livestock show since the Westmoreland County Fair was canceled. Thanks to some volunteers I think the show was a success. We had a lot of nice Chinese auction items and a few monetary donations that hopefully helped pay for most of the bills. Aubrey took Grand Champion Market Goat with a goat born on our farm. This is a Godfather genetics goat. This gave her Grand Champion Home Grown and Grand Champion County Bred. Special thanks to Addison Heeter who helped show this weather because Aubrey had 2 in the same class. Anna won her lightweight class and took a second in her age group in showmanship. Both girls have come a long way in showing since our last PCLA show. We worked almost every day with them over the past month handling their animals. We actually slacked off most of the summer not knowing if we were going to have a show this month. Once we found out it was a go we had to get back in high gear. Also thanks to Paige Ohler who worked with the girls showmanship skills. The shows are mostly over for the year depending on the PA farm show and NAILE in Louisville that we thought about attending. Hopefully they are not canceled. Thanks to everyone who helped put this show together for the hard working kids.

After the buck shed his winter coat off, we thought he was worth a few pics. Im not the best picture taker but hope they do him justice. . We havnt touched anything with a clipper yet waiting for this weather to warm up. This buck is a Godfather son from Kedrick Miller Boer Goats. The kid in his picture is one of his December offspring that were high on. His Dam is also Miller genetics and hope to have more like him next year. God willing we will have around 20 does bred to him this summer along with some covered by other bucks and hope to have our first sale this coming spring. We didn't have a sale this year since we have kept all his doe kids to expand the herd. We did sell a few weathers private treaty and gave one away to a boy who I thought struggled last year and needed some help. I would like to continue that in the future because its really all about the kids. Our goal is to be breeding around 30 does in 2021

1st Kid out of our new Miller Buck. Lost her brother at birthing but like what I see in this doe. Cant wait till December till all the does start dropping his kids. Not the best pic of the doe but as you can tell this is Annas buddy. She starting working with this kid early and had her halter broke by 2 months old.

After 2 years of horrible success rates of artificial breeding I have decided to go to live coverage. So I went to Miller Boer Goats for this great buck. This guy should help take our genetics to the next level. He is really starting to mature into one heck of a buck. First doe to him due in April, cant wait to see his kids.
