Just FYI, this is going to be longer post for boarding and grooming customers so SORRY!!
Just wanting everyone to be aware as we are entering the even busier season, if you know you will need boarding for your critters, get ahold of me asap. The more notice the better the chance I will still have availability. Lots of runs are already booked and limited availability till October 2023 right now. Feel free to always call even if last minute as never know if I might get a cancelation but that is then luck of the draw.
With that being said, I need to clarify a few things with grooming. Majority of customers show up for appointment and then you are given a return time for your pet. I will need customers to respect that time and be back to retrieve pet within 30 minutes of that. I have minimal holding space in office for grooming. My appointments are staggered to accommodate this but when people are not back promptly I run out of room. I then have to push grooming animals to back and with boarding being full 24/7, I do not have room for grooming animals to be taking up boarding animals space. If I have to do this for a grooming animal, you will be charged for a day of boarding. Whether your animal is put into a run for 5 minutes or 2 hours, once they leave I then have a run to rip down, disinfect, water bowl to send through dishwasher and blanket to wash. That is not built into my grooming prices.
Also with that, my grooming schedule is built around my own personal/family schedule. There is no guarantee I will be here outside of boarding hours if I had to schedule an appointment for me or family. Your animal might be only animal I am grooming for the day and I might be sprinting out door right after to get somewhere myself. I have already run into issues where I need to be somewhere and grooming customer is not showing up on time to retrieve their pet causing issues for me. I don't have time to chase people around. There is one of me to all of you. If this happens, here on out, I will get your animal settled in and you will come back to a locked door. Pick up will then be boarding hours and there will be boarding fee added on.
I do understand things happen and if do I will try to accommodate. My goal is to keep things running smooth and I sure do appreciate all of you keeping me busy, busy, busy!!! Thank you!!! Any questions or concerns just get ahold of me.
