Good morning! I’m really sad to have to do this but I will no longer be grooming in Douglasville, I will be grooming completely from Villa Rica now. To all my Douglasville clients who will not be making the trip to Villa Rica to continue my services I completely understand and I want you to know that I appreciate you all so much and am grateful for the time I got to spend with your babies, I hope you find an amazing local groomer 🤞🏾♥️ This year has been a tough one, and the past month has dang near broken me completely down, but I believe that things are going to get better from here and I appreciate all the love and support you all have shown me . ♥️

Hello guys, thank you all for your prayers, patience and help during this move for me ♥️ I do have some good news for all my Douglasville clients I will still be grooming from my old house on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays ♥️ so if you can’t make the trip to Villa Rica I can still groom in Douglasville on those days ♥️ I have some availability left for this Saturday in Douglasville!

I am now currently completely booked for my remaining time in Douglasville, I will also be packing and moving within the next 5 days. Im trying to get back to everyone as best as I can but I’m just completely busy and overwhelmed with everything on my plate at the moment. I appreciate the patience! I will resume grooming from my new location on Monday October 9th , thank you all again for everything ♥️

Hello everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that October 4th will be my last day grooming in Douglasville 😞 I tried so hard to find a place for me and my kids in Douglasville and just have had no luck. So I will be moving to Villa Rica after the 4th of October. I’m sorry to leave on such short notice but it was a very short notice situation for us as well! I will resume grooming in Villa Rica and I hope that you all don’t mind making the drive to continue allowing me to service my precious babies, but if you are not able to do so I understand and I hope you find an amazing local groomer to replace me and care for my friends! Im currently trying to work out a shuttle type service where 1-2 days out of the week I come to Douglasville and pick up 5-7 clients all at one designated time early in the morning, take them back to Villa Rica , service them and then drop them back off at the end of the day, but I haven’t worked that part out yet. For anyone I won’t be seeing after this move I just want to say from the bottom of my heart I am so grateful and so appreciative that you gave me the opportunity to care for your babies while I could! I appreciate all of the love and support I received from Douglasville and I’m heartbroken to have to leave anyone behind. Thank you so much, I love y’all and I hope I see you again soon🤞🏾♥️ I still have appointments available up until the 4th here in Douglasville. Blessings and love to you all ♥️

One of the biggest mistakes you will make when starting your own business as a natural people pleaser is not healing first. If you struggle with setting and enforcing boundaries and policies you will eventually find yourself miserable. I’ve been going thru a phase lately where I’ve contemplated giving up dog grooming as a whole simply because of the mental burden it has become. I’m in my feelings all the time now. And it really just dawned on me that it’s simply because I am a people pleaser who does not set or enforce my boundaries or policies. So with that being said, I’m going to be making big changes effective immediately. ALL policies WILL be enforced, no matter who you are. Any disrespect of any kind will no longer be tolerated. You can kindly go elsewhere. I am an amazing dog groomer, I am thorough, and I take really great care of these dogs. I am very understanding and accommodating and I deserve respect and decency. And me enforcing my boundaries is NOT PERSONAL. This is not a side hustle, this is a full blown full time professional BUSINESS.

Last night my very best friend was attacked by a Pitbull she was boarding. She almost lost her life, she is in at Grady in ICU. They are hoping to save her arm, but she won’t be able to use it the same ever again , and she won’t be able to leave the hospital for a while. She will have to complete therapy and learn to use her arm and walk on her leg again before she will even be able to go home. Those who know her know she is a single mother who takes care of her kids all on her own. Their entire life is changed forever in the blink of an eye. And listen, I’m not judging, I know we all go thru things and sometimes certain things are not at the top of the priority list at the moment. But as your dog’s groomer it’s my place to tell y’all that WE GOTTA DO BETTER. If you’re having financial issues reach out to me and I will work something out with you. If you have transportation issues, reach out, I’ll help you. Help me help you HELP THEM. Cause the matting and neglect is not fair to your dog or me, and we gotta do better. I’m here for y’all but I’m REALLY here for y’all dogs. These are my friends and y’all gotta do right by them. If you need help or are going thru tough times just reach out I promise I will work something out for y’all. Please don’t take offense , but y’all need to hear it. Let’s do better, as a team, I’m here for y’all.

Hello! I’m super grateful for how much my business is now growing! You guys referring me is so appreciated and I am truly nothing with out you all 🥹♥️But with that being said my schedule has become a lot tighter in order to accommodate all appointments and my previous policy with the 20 min grace period for being late is just not going to work now. The new grace period is 10 minutes and if you’re later than that you will either need to reschedule or pay a late arrival fee. I know before I was a lot more lenient but now with a tighter schedule that extra 10-20 minutes actually makes a huge difference in the way the appointments flow. So as not to throw off each appointment following yours I’m asking that you please arrive at your scheduled time, but I will allow a 10 min grace period. I hope that everyone understands why I need to implement this policy change and I want y’all to know it is not personal and I’m very grateful for each and everyone of you ♥️
