Nothing scares me more than hearing one of my kids yell "go get mom" when they have made it to the barn before me. My heart literally sinks. So while walking out and hearing this I start moving a little bit faster. Thankfully it was life and not death. We apparently missed a whole hidden nest 🙄🙄🙄🙄.

Fat girl love ❤️. Thank goodness for no damaging storms so far today!! Well so far I wasn't expecting the last one!
I want to thank Resale to the Rescue, Inc. for our grant! It came at a good time as repairs need done. The barn and fence line need work! Also working on getting Glen a random stray fixed and looked at. After 2 years he is finally allowing us to pet him. This year has started out rough but I pray only good things for the future.

Hose turned on fine since it is kept indoors then froze. Thank goodness I have these bowls to drag water down 😩😩😩. I seriously hate Michigan cold and rescue life right now

Stella came to us due to some issues in her home life. She was pregnant when she arrived. All kittens were adopted out ❤️❤️. She goes in and out as she pleases and I guess tonight is a make yourself at home night! She thinks she owns my bed 🤣

One of our promises to ourselves when we started the store is that we would never buy bags because the world is already full of them!! Recycling, ya know?! Do you have extra bags laying around that you can donate to us? We’ll take them! Here’s what we need: large plastic bags (think something like those big bags at Kohl’s), paper bags with handles (all sizes), and cloth bags (all sizes), and a limited number of grocery size plastic bags.

I walked outside and almost died 5x's so Maggi and I ran out grabbed a few extra pools, couple feed bowls, frozen veggies, and a lot of ice!! Elliot is thrilled!! Chickens are loving some frozen veggies also! I would have gotten more pics but my glasses are all fogged up. Second shower here I come!
