His ideal home is on the quieter side without young children or other pets. However, Toby is good with other big dogs for his play style (a meet with your dog will be required). 🐶

After a rocky start in life that would have soured most dogs on people in general, this sweet boy is more determined than ever to find his pawfect person/family. He can’t wait to meet them! 🥰

This handsome face is Toby.

Toby's been in foster care with Best Paw Forward for nearly a year and desperately needs an adopter or even a committed foster home where he can continue to grow and enjoy life.

Toby would do best in a relaxed, low traffic home as he's an introvert. He is a master snuggler on the couch especially on rainy days. Fully potty trained and lots of obedience training under his belt. Listens well and enjoys leisurely walks.

Toby should not go to a home with other animals under 20 lbs. He plays well with dogs but would need proper introductions for the best success.

Toby bonds easily to women but does take some time to warm up to men so men in the family would need to be patient and understanding of Toby needing space sometimes.

Don't worry, i won't steal your food. I am well trained to "leave it" when told. I will lay on my bed while you eat, but don't leave me alone in the room with the food... i am a dog after all.

Helping out with some private lessons. The other pup is working on reactivity so I'm helping by being calm and non reactive from a distance.

Today I helped to train a reactive dog be ready for surprise dogs around corners.

We did great! I can't wait to see her again.

Today I walked a mile in the corn fields. I found a vole and it smelled amazing. I walked with the Michaels and had a great time.
