Last, but certainly not least for October does is: REBA! She has officially lost her ligaments and her udder popped! Can’t wait to see these babies 💜think pink!

On kidding watch for 3 of our first fresheners. I’ve got one who is so dramatic already and she’s not even contracting yet. She may not even kid tonight and she’s been yelling at me and for me for like 2 hours now.

Ah. It’s officially RUT here on our farm. I was just been p*ed on by my SWEETEST, most lovey boy.

And he wasn’t the least bit ashamed by his actions. He climbed up for a scratch while I filled water buckets and proceeded to p*e all over my leg from the knee up 🤮 excuse me while I take a decontamination shower.

Hello friends and followers!!

I’ve been super busy lately and have been terrible about updating this page. Hoping to do better with that now.

A few updates coming your way!

We have a number of first freshener does confirmed bred and due between October and December!! Super excited about these girls and the potential babies. We will be offering reservations for many of these breedings. Most of them will be does or wethers, but I may make exceptions for bucks on a case by case basis pending seeing how the does udders are looking and milk production. It never hurts to ask though!

We will be offering a few first freshener does in milk to new homes. So stay tuned for that as well. This fall will be a very exciting time here on the farm! ♥️

Over the next week I’ll post spotlights for each breeding so you can reach out with any interest you may have 😊 take care everyone! Talk to you soon!

Happy goaties 😊

Hello friends and followers! The time has come to make some hard cuts here. We will be posting some available goats in the next few days, these are quality animals, definitely not culls by any means. Unfortunately we can’t keep them all, and I have to lighten my workload a bit here. So scoop them up while you can! I will make package deals and will work with transport (transport and health certificates at buyers expense). *disclaimer, not all of these goats are available, but some will be!

Happy goats, all comfy in their clean sheets. Happy goats make the best milk 💕😊 this is our doe barn, all our lovely ladies. *excuse our cobwebs, that wasn’t on the list for today*

✨ The personality change ✨

✨ The personality change ✨ One of my favorite and, for me, the most noticeable early sign that kidding is approaching is the change in behavior. Some of my girls who are generally less personable, become more cuddly and sweet. Cocoa is one of those goats, she’s one who is not a “people goat” normally. She tolerates me, but prefers to be admired from afar unless she says otherwise, or if there’s food involved. When she gets close to kidding though, she practically climbs into my lap. I’ll happily take all the Cocoa cuddles 🥰♥️ She’s due in 1 week!!! I cannot wait. This girl has the most beautiful udder attachments and I cannot wait to milk her again ♥️

The girlies ♥️ Sneaky is in the barn with her babies, and Cocoa is in the kidding pen. Watch those cute pregnant girls run 🤣 Stormie and Emmy are our first home bred does to freshen and they’re due in about a month! So excited!!

*semi graphic birth video* It’s actually a pretty perfect example of a great birth, but some people may want to scroll on by, hence the warning label. 😊♥️ 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐 Peaches is a 2F this year and she birthed twins unassisted and is a fantastic mommy. Unfortunately one of her bucklings is the one that we lost a few hours after birth. This is the baby who is thriving, we call him Jupiter.

Our girls vote no on the weather today 🤣 everyone knows that goats melt in precipitation 🤣

Guess who is in the kidding pen! Peek a boo is due Tuesday (10/11)! Her udder is definitely not full yet but she’s starting to show some signs of kidding! We are very excited 😊♥️

We enjoyed the 70° days this week, of course we know the weather can’t stay that nice just yet, but we took advantage while it was here ☺️♥️ the babies loved playing outside.
