My pear & fig trees are producing! Lemons and green beans are coming sooner than expected. Tomatoes will overtake everything. Jalapeño & cilantro are weird.
But furniture & home decor still call me. Working on a couple of fun projects still…more to come.

Vegetables are coming along beautifully!! Look at these babies. Broccoli is blooming. Butter lettuce is finicky and cabbage…well, for some reason the bugs are eating the leaf quickly.
I’m a gatherer ~ even though our first garden to table experience won’t be for a couple of months, I begin gathering everything I need for a table setting. These napkins are the idea of my very good friend ~ . She makes everything beautiful.

Progress report! This week has been AMAZING! Between gardening classes, reading, visiting three beautiful homes with vegetable gardens and one-on-one with Ray (gardener extraordinaire).
Ray was generous with his time to teach me all about “keyhole gardening” ~ a system used in Africa ~ where extreme heat rules. Can’t wait for Curated Farm to begin!
