To benefit HUNTERS FOR THE HUNGRY, DUBACH DEER FACTORY & SMOKEHOUSE, LLC is proudly hosting its second annual HOGAPALOOZA HOG TOURNAMENT from March 15, 2024 through May 31, 2024
Event Rules:

1. This is a feral hog hunting event only. No domestic hogs are allowed in this contest.
2. Hunters can hunt anywhere & in any way it is legal to hunt feral hogs. The hunt, harvest and transportation of feral hogs is subject to all Louisiana game laws.
3. All feral hogs must be dropped off at Dubach Deer Factory & Smokehouse, LLC, and donated to Hunters for the Hungry. All feral hogs will be processed for consumption by people, so care should be taken in the handling of the carcass to ensure that the meat will be safe for consumption.
4. This year, we will allow individuals and teams. You may enter as an individual or a team, but not both. Individuals have to be solely responsible for the harvest of the hogs and may not accept hogs harvested by others, or you will be disqualified. All teams must be four-person teams, but all team members do not have to be present during harvest or drop off of the feral hogs. The four-person team will be credited for feral hogs dropped off by any member of the team.
5. There are no entry fees. In order to register as an individual, on Facebook, you will need to tag Dubach Deer Factory & Smokehouse, LLC, and Hunters for the Hungry Louisiana and share this post on Facebook. In order to register your four-person team, on Facebook, you will need to tag Dubach Deer Factory & Smokehouse, LLC, Hunters for the Hungry Louisiana, and your other three team members in a post which names your team, identifies your team members, and share this post on Facebook. All team members must share this post on Facebook. Failure to follow these rules will make the individual or four-person team ineligible for the tournament. WHEN FERAL HOGS ARE DROPPED OFF, DROP THEM OFF IN THE TEAM NAME AND NOT IN AN INDIVIDUAL NAME, UNLESS YOU ARE REGISTERED AS AN INDIVIDUAL. You will have to verify information when you drop feral hogs off.
6. Sign up as an individual or sign up your team anytime during March, April or May 2024.
7. All hogs MUST be donated on the same day as the kill-Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM only. No donations will be accepted outside of operating hours or on weekends. The more feral hogs dropped off, the merrier….you are helping to feed people in our community.
8. If a feral hog is brought in on a day other than when it was harvested, the meat will be discarded, and the feral hog will not count towards the total weight of the team or will not be entered as an entry in the raffle for the individual. Ultimately, if an issue arises regarding the edibility of the meat, the decision of Dubach Deer Factory & Smokehouse, LLC, will be determinative of the issue and whether the feral hog will count towards the weight of the team or the entry in the raffle for the individual.
9. With regards to individuals, each time you drop off a hog, you will receive one entry per hog dropped off into a raffle with a chance to win a $1000.00 individual prize. Individuals will also have the opportunity to win $500.00 for the heaviest hog donated by an individual. With regards to teams, the team which has the highest total weight of feral hogs dropped off at Dubach Deer Factory & Smokehouse, LLC, and donated during March 15, 2024, and May 31, 2024, wins the team contest and will be paid the total sum of $5000.00 in prize money. Each team will have the opportunity to win $500.00 for the heaviest hog and $500 for the second heaviest hog donated by a team.
10. INDIVIDUALS AND TEAMS ENTERED IN THIS CONTEST ARE PROHIBITED FROM POSTING PHOTOS OF THEIR HOGS BETWEEN MARCH 15, 2024, AND MAY 31, 2024.
11. Winners will be announced on June 7, 2024, on Facebook at 5:30 p.m.
12. Anyone wishing to donate meat without entering the contest is encouraged to do so.
13. LASTLY, THIS IS FUN, THIS IS FOR A GOOD CAUSE, ALL THE RULES ARE HERE IN WRITING, BUT IN THE EVENT OF A DISPUTE OR A QUESTION CONCERNING THE RULES, THE FINAL DECISION WILL BE MADE BY DUBACH DEER FACTORY & SMOKEHOUSE, LLC.
