The fun is about to begin! After a little hardening off time, these beauties will be ready for transplanting. 🍅 All of these are new varieties to me. This year I wanted to branch out and grow unusual, really unique but flavorful varieties. Lots direct from tomato breeders, along with Russian, Ukrainian and Lithuanian seeds. So thankful for these opportunities. 😊

Huge thanks to my sweet hubby for hauling them from the grow room to the greenhouse. 😘

It’s 40 degrees with a wind chill of 32 so what’s one to do? Pot up tomatoes inside! 🍅

I can’t say enough good things about these 6 pack seed starting cells from Bootstrap Farmer - Best roots thus far on all of my seedlings. The air pruning is far superior to any others I’ve ever used.

Wanted to share with you all this amazing egg holder I found. Our ladies typically lay many more eggs than we can keep up with. I was looking for a better way to store the eggs long term than my little wicker baskets. We love it! Holds 30 large eggs and is so easy to refill.

This poor sweet girl is miserable pregnant. I’m watching her like a hawk because I’m concerned she may have quads or a couple of very large bucklings. Neither is ideal. This is her third pregnancy but she’s only ever had a single kid before. 😳

Anyone have a guess about the number of kids? 😊

Welcome Mr. CHOC-o-late! 🤎 He’s our first calf of the year. Thankfully Mom calved easily and is being a helicopter parent thus far. 🤭

Early Spring is my FAVORITE time of the year on the farm! We had 18 kids this year!!! 6 bucklings & 12 doelings. Several of our mommas had triplets! We even have some moonspots & lots of blue eyed babies! 💙
