Dog Grooming is My Passion

My name is Lisa. I have an undeniable passion for grooming dogs, as I have been at it for 11 years now. I started grooming accidentally, but it has been the best accident to ever happen to me. I graduated from Ohio University in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in both Journalism and Spanish. I accepted a marketing job after graduation. I hated it. I got my first dog, as an adult, around that same time. I took her to training classes at a local pet store, and I absolutely fell in love with the idea of working with dogs for a living. I quit my marketing job for a dog-training position, but I needed more hours to pay the bills. For that reason, I became a bather. And then a groomer. I never looked back. Eleven years ago, I found my happy place: building relationships with and taking care of your fur children!
