Sweetwater Kennels is moving! We’re so excited to announce that our dreams of getting back on the farm and expanding the kennel are coming true this summer. We will be relocating to Wellman, IA (about 25 minutes south of Iowa City) in early July putting us closer to Lexi’s family/ family farms. The dogs are as excited as we are, and Annie learned what a llama, sheep, and barn cats were at the same time (while we snapped the below picture) so I’m pretty sure she will stay entertained! We’re so excited for this transition and to bring you along the journey as we renovate the buildings/ barn and get them ready for dogs (and larger animals 🐴🐮🐓) in the future!

We are SO blessed with amazing families and love seeing updates of them at their new homes… minus Luna who is staying with Sweetwater and is now “Annie Mae”. We have some pretty exciting news about the future of Sweetwater that we will be announcing soon, so stay tuned!
