Woof - it's hot out there! We encourage everyone to practice heat safety for themselves AND their pets. Here are some basic tips to prevent doggie heat stroke:

🦴 Give your dog plenty of water before and after walks.
🦴 Walk your dog on the grass, not the pavement, to prevent your dog’s paws from burning. Check the pavement temp with the back of your hand for 7 seconds!
🦴 Take frequent water and shade breaks when out and about. Try to limit longer outside walks to before/after sunrise and sunset.
🦴 NEVER leave your dog in the car without the air conditioning running for ANY length of time. Cracking the window without A/C DOES NOT help!
