Just did a really great story on Snapchat on how anyone can have a trained dog. It just takes daily practice. The best part about it is it doesn't have to take a ton of time. That doesn't mean you should not put time in. It does mean that you can integrate training in as part of your daily routine. I will say if you get a dog and expect to never have to put time in after their initial training, you might want to rethink owning a dog.

Getting out for some play with my dogs. The cool thing is, even in play they are still training. Outing, fetch & retrieve, recalls. Training is never over.
The power of the place command. One of my favorite commands ๐
Just added a story to my Snapchat about dog reactivity and how I deal with it. If you haven't added me on Snapchat yet you can add me through my snapcode post right on this page. Or you can add me through my name Itmightbevena
Having dogs wait for food is a great leadership and impulse control exercise. I, personally, enjoy keeping feeding time calm.
Yes. I do correct dogs.
You're going to hear me talk a lot about correcting dogs. Why? Because it doesn't get talked about. People are often too afraid of their image and the way people will view them when they talk about controversial topics and you're going to get all of that from me.
Was playing fetch and decided to try out the slo-mo on my camera.
An awesome clip from a Periscope I shot yesterday doing some off leash heeling with Champ and Navi. If you're not already following me on Periscope, you can find me @ The Quality K9. I do dog scopes daily.
