This was such a great and motivating experience. Being able to take on more knowledge, and additional thought process when working with the dogs in front of me is truly valuable. TWC is like no other methodology in dog training.

Harley is a strong 130lb Great Dane that was very reactive to seeing dogs, and anxious is various situations. Handling her was very difficult and created limitations.

It was so important for Harley to be able to open up and express herself through play and freedom. Along with changing her emotions and perspective when seeing dogs.

This video shows her reaction to a dog all the way across the street before training. Followed by walking by a variety of dogs in situations, and being able to run free with some recall which she truly enjoys.

💔Blu my heart, love, best friend, my wingman, with a very heavy heart we had to let him go on November 12, 2024. I Love You Monkey!

I cannot seem to find the right words for how much Blu meant, as Blu had and still will have such an impact on my life.

It all started after wanting to get a puppy after not having a dog in my life at that time. This was weeks before Christmas and Michelle said I want a puppy with blue eyes. I told her this was going to be a slim chance of happening. We went to look at puppies at the shelter, but of course they were being snatched up before we could even see them.

After this happening multiple times the lady said, well a guy just called he is bringing in some puppies. I wait and see someone come in with a big tub. He puts it down and I look in, and I see a puppy with bright blue eyes, white marking on his nose and feet. I pick him up and I knew God put this puppy in our life. So of course I called him Blu.

Blu grew up to be a confident, happy, loving, strong minded dog. I loved spending time with him as the world around me didn't matter when I was doing so.

Blu opened the door for dog training with me. As I wanted to teach him new things, spend time with him, and give him freedom that he enjoyed. He impacted so many dog's lives by getting them to open up, to look up to him, and just have fun.

Blu's love for the outdoors and not just anywhere, but trails, and especially the mountains. Taking him to the mountains he would light up and just look at me like, I love this. This got me started in backpacking. Taking Blu on multi night trips in the woods away from everyone. These are some of the best and memorable moments I had with him.

I feel having loved ones means the most in this life. Spending time with them is so important and needs to be cherished. Time goes by so fast and you start wishing you can just have one more day, one more moment with them.

Blu has such a special place in my heart and he will always be greatly missed.

What Happened?
Blu was taken care of incredibly well with top nutrition, supplements, and titers for only necessary vaccines to maximize his immune system. Even though we took this approach, he was diagnosed the end of May with a very fragile cancerous tumor on his liver, and again in September with a very aggressive form of cancer (Melanoma) on his soft palate. The vet said with our care it was highly probable it was genetic. There was no traditional treatment for a variety of reasons, and we still tried to help him fight with an integrative approach with assistance and research with nutrition, TCVM, acupuncture, and other supplementation.

1 in 3 dogs statistically will develop a form of cancer at some point in their lives. It is not just a genetic disease, and we do have some control to reduce their risk, prevent it, or prolong their life. Learn about pet nutrition, supplementation, reducing toxicity, improving immunity, etc. Along with finding a very well versed open minded vet that truly cares to take the time to care about your dog.

Olivia was such a skittish girl in many different situations. This was with doors closing, people moving, cars, noises, different objects, etc.

Confidence does not grow within a typical training approach by learning a sit, down, heel, or place command.

The focus with training was getting Olivia to feel as good as possible overall to be able to handle a variety of situations with confidence. This was giving her a purpose and being able to express who she truly was with minimal limitations.

Building her up where we are truly working together. Playing with objectives, where she knows how to win, taking on environments as a team, and exploration/freedom are some key things for her success.

This boy Ricky was a fun one. Cattle dog mix that had aggression issues. He started attacking dogs in off leash scenarios. He would run up, and jump to bite on the back of their necks. Also he could not go on a walk without flipping out seeing a dog even at a good distance away. This would result in a quick approach if allowed.

Training a dog like Ricky there are so many different things to take into account. I never jump in and look at how I can stop this behavior.

I want to build the best relationship that I can with him. Allowing and teaching him to fully express who he truly is to become his best self. I want to show him that were in this together and create emotional balance and feedback.

Changing his state of mind and perspective in social situations to help him make the right decisions. While still being able to guide and communicate with when appropriate.

I missed some good video opportunities but the outcome of Ricky's behavior changed him and his owners life.

Kevin is a very energetic dog that needed freedom to really enjoy life to the fullest. It was also very important to create interactions that allowed him to express his innate instincts, and create a very special bond with his owner.

This fluffy australian shepherd definitely did not like new people or dogs. He felt anxious in closer situations, but also felt uneasy with people he have met plenty of times, and resort to biting to create space.

Even going out on walks he was on alert and did not present confidence.
It was so important to feel better about himself and have a different perspective.

Molly the Great Pyrenees Mix. Molly's owner used to take her on hikes all the time, until her behavior of lunging and barking started happening. This prevented her from being able to handle her in a variety of situations, and would get quite intense in situations.

After training and a new way to interact with her, Molly is back on the trails doing the things that the both of them love.

I am now a Training Without Conflict Certified Professional Dog Trainer!!!

When I started learning about dog training it was because of my love for dogs. I never thought in the beginning it would turn into my career. I found it so enjoyable having a dog companion at your side. Sharing your life with them, creating lasting memories, being active, witnessing their happiness, and truly connecting through those moments

I wanted to learn how to train in a way that promoted freedom, companionship, and benefited the dogs overall well being while overcoming behavioral issues.

The journey of working with behavioral issues has provided me with valuable experience, and I remain committed to furthering my development. I continuously refined my approach which was expanded, molded, poked, prodded, ripped apart, and built back based on being critical and always wanting what started everything. To help dogs reveal their best selves and create meaningful moments through training that enables this expression.

It's concerning how many dog training methods emphasize excessive control, manipulation, and micromanagement, hindering dogs' natural behaviors and emotions. This often leads to owners unknowingly adopting approaches that negatively impact the relationship with their dogs.

I was highly moved by someone over many years by the name of Ivan Balabanov. He created a methodology that prioritizes the dog's emotions and fosters a strong relationship between human and dog, emphasizing training through that deep connection. This is evident in his extensive knowledge, emphasis on the importance of relationships with dogs, and how he incorporates these elements into training, as seen in his interactions with them.

I knew this course would be innovative, but I didn't realize it would challenge me to completely rethink how I approach dog training and how to truly prioritize their needs in my training.

I want to express my gratitude to Ivan Balabanov for sharing his insights and expertise in this course, which has not only provided me with a deeper understanding of dog training but also a newfound confidence in my abilities to work with dogs.

Shumaq was very apprehensive with new people and dogs. This would result to biting in closer proximities. He needed to have a different perspective and feel much better about himself.

Momo the Afghan Hound was very charged up seeing squirrels, and being a sighthound, would see them way before you would. This would result in a full sprint towards them. Along with getting very worked up when seeing dogs. This made it very difficult for his owners to do the things he enjoyed.

Jarvis had a fearful response of unfamiliar people in close situations. He had a bad past experience with a dog, and anxiousness when walking around.

Getting Jarvis to view his surroundings differently, become more confident, and have a purpose was so important for his success.

Cassie came to me anxious in various situations. It was so important to provide the feedback that she needed to open up. Along with building her confidence by expressing herself in the things she loves. This is all about working together and truly understanding what she needed.
