Duke PAWS We are Duke's primary group for helping our furry friends in Durham through volunteering at shelters, raising awareness and more!

•Get trained easily with transportation for volunteering at the Animal Protection Society of Durham (APS) and Orange County animal services (OC)
•Participate in fundraising and awareness events in the community run by the APS and OC
•Participate in our annual Animal Awareness Day a

nd Campus Adoption Day on Duke’s campus
•Teach proper animal care at local elementary schools
•Participate in a 'puppy socialization group'
•Help at adoption events with Independent Animal Rescue at Petsmart and Petco
