When you make dog treats but also did biochemical research for 10 years…

Soft treats have lots of moisture, making shelf stability and food safety a challenge! Currently trying out some natural additives, including ascorbic acid (won’t break down with heat 🔥) and cinnamon, all at levels that won’t disturb puppy tummies (think of when you drink a glass of OJ on an empty stomach).

Currently running through 10 conditions, including a negative control! Woohoo !

Thanks again for all the smiles, support, and repeat customers! 🤩 While we’re obsessive about making high quality treats, it was the BEST compliment to have you all coming back to buy more for yourselves and buy MULTIPLE bags for friends.

I hope the treats make all your fur babies feel loved this holiday. 🥰🐶

We are finalizing several farmers market applications for this upcoming year (2024 holiday soft launch was deemed a SUCCESS ✅).

Pumpkin processing day! Gracie LOVES a fresh cut of pumpkin, which is great for her gut AND her teeth. :) Did you know that dog kibble is usually quite high in starch and sugars? Dogs’ mouths do not produce amylase, the enzyme most omnivores have in their saliva to break down starches on the way to the stomach. So what does that mean? It means starches stick to a dog’s teeth, feed bacteria and promote tooth decay. Fresh pumpkin (and some other fresh fruits and veg) contain amylase!!! Want to combat bad breath in your puppy? It might be bad business on my part, but… you don’t need expensive dental treats. 😬 just incorporate raw veg.
