71lbs of true love who is struggling right now with everyday shelter life. Stunner has been in our care less than a week. This handsome boy Stunner who sadly needed to be surrendered due to some unfortunate circumstances lost the family who loved him ever since he was a puppy. Stunner is now 4yrs old and was so very loved in his previous home. Stunner craves so badly to be back into a loving home environment. Stunner is a very sweet boy and will only go potty since coming into our shelter on walks. Stunner is housebroken, good with kids, good with other dogs and cats according to his previous family. Stunner does enjoy walks and wants nothing more than human love. Stunner is a pit/lab mix who needs your help in helping him find someone to love him. Those sweet freckles on those hound dog ears melts our hearts♥️
At just about 2yrs old Chance was originally found stray by a citizen taken in to care for him for weeks and unfortunately no one ever came looking for him. Chance was so very skinny prior to the citizen taking him in…. Chance couldn’t permanently be kept there so he had to be surrendered after they had been caring for him for weeks. Chance looked so cleaned and loved when he arrived to our shelter. Chance is truly an amazing hound that is absolutely precious! Chance doesn’t know a stranger and loves people!! The family that had him for that short time had gave him the name and did learn a few things about him. According to the family Chance is partially housebroken, excellent with kids and excellent with other animals. Chance is overall an amazing guy that is hoping to find a family who would be willing to give him a chance. Chance weighs about 51lbs. Chance wants nothing more than to find a family to give him all the love! Chance has been neutered and up to date on his shots. Chance’s adoption fee is $95 cash or check. Blaze continues to need hope as this boy is close to being at our shelter for 2months with not much interest…sadly… Blaze is right at 7yrs old and the perfect age to be someone’s best boy, but it seems no one is wanting a mature guy like Blaze. Blaze is a husky/lab mix who weighs about 53lbs. Blaze came into our shelter stray, which resulted in his family surrendering him after not staying home. Blaze has been neutered now, which has calmed him down a lot since being at our shelter. Blaze walks well on leash and is a very treat/food motivated boy. Blaze does need a home WITHOUT CATS. According to previous family Blaze is housebroken, good with kids and other dogs. Blaze is a very handsome boy who loves toys and is a very sweet boy! Introducing Luna! This little newcomer is just a year old, and we’re pretty sure you’ll be smitten at first wet nose, first kiss and first “sit” with this pretty lady. This girl is a real beauty. Dressed for success in a sleek, brindle coat, she’s young on paper and young at heart. Described as “sweet and loving to everyone she meets,” we’re sure you’ll find a good friend…no, a best friend with Luna by your side. Luna was quick to make friends at the Sanctuary and it looks like Scooby (2 yr old male bully mix) is her bestie doggy friend. She’s done well meeting other dogs as well so a home with other 4 leggeds might just perfectly suit her style. Luna has crated well with some encouragement and if you love to travel and take your doggy for car trips, she’s your new gal pal! Eager to please, treat motivated and already great at “down and sit,” she’s working hard on the off command and overall making great strides in the training area. Luna is a bouncy, playful girl, petite too (just 28lbs!) who wants to please and love on her person. Might that person be you?

You can meet Luna this Sunday, September 15th, at the Creatures Great & Small Festival taking place at the Scottsville Pavilion from noon to 4:00! She’ll be there with her BFF Scooby so come out and meet these two very adoptable sweethearts!

Gypsy has been a friendly kitty from the day she arrived from a local cat colony, even though she was very much pregnant at the time! Not much has changed today except that she has definitely found her voice. She’s very vocal and wants to be sure her opinions are heard. Are you seeking a feline companion that exudes warmth, sociability, and playful energy? Look no further than Gypsy! We believe she will do well in a home with other similarly natured cats, where she can engage in play and socialize with feline companions.

Following in their mom’s footsteps, siblings Eclipse and Moon are incredibly friendly and love to receive attention from visitors. In the market for one (or two?) adorable kittens?

Pixie who has been in our care for over a month is hoping maybe after bath day she will capture the hearts of a family looking to add a precious girl into their home… Pixie has had multiple post and it seems her and her sister Dixie are being overlooked. Pixie was guessed to be about 6months old or older and only weighs around 21lbs. Pixie’s has a unique story as she was left in crate along with her sisters in front of our shelter. We are needing someone to help Pixie have a great life being their best girl! Pixie has been spayed and is UTD on her shots. Pixie could be a perfect addition to your home!
