Taking a trust nap, sleeping securely in my arms. The way they relax, sink into my hands, and know they are safely loved just warms my heart. ♥️

Rackham at 10 mos
Rackam - 10-mos. - There is no greater thing that I can say about this boy of ours than to show you who he is. Yes, he’s handsome as sin, yes, he’s huge - 115 already, but what we are proud of about our Rackam is his character. At handling class a really young boy wanted to learn how to handle and although Rackam has met kids - part of his socialization - he’s never been walked by one or been closely handled by them. But without a moment of hesitation, we knew we could pass the leash to this young boy to give the ring a run. Why? Because Rackam was bred, raised, socialized and trained to be a gentleman. And he was… he will likely earn lots of ribbons in his show career, and perhaps have some amazing puppies someday, but I won’t be any prouder then, than I am now, of the boy we have worked for years to raise in our lines. A boy we can trust with anyone, even a young boy he’s never met before. That comes before all the ribbons in the world ♥️ Many, many thanks to Sunset Hills Dog Training and Christina, our trainer, and to Priscilla at Powder Keg Farms for letting us use incredibly sweet, incredibly handsome Bix.
At 1 week old - sooooo stinking cute already! ♥️
Attempt #1 treat given and I hold the top of tunnel steady so it doesn’t roll with her in it.
Attempt #2 treat given but I don’t hold the tunnel - she adjusts to a little motion
Attempt # 3+ - she’s choosing to go through the tunnel because she thinks it’s fun!
