So much fun again at Sunset Hills Dog Training with Dale and our keeper puppy - Timpvale Encantada Senorita, “Chica”. She has always loved learning and tonight learned about agility work. We think soon she may be ready to pass off her ATT, first level agility competition. Check her out!

Asti is pretty in love with her babies already! We have them eat in sets of 3, rotating every hour at first so we can make sure they are all latching well and getting first feedings of colostrum that are so important for their health and growth.
Getting ready to send the last two babies on their flights home with their family members today. But first… this 💙❤️

When they get dried - their first blow drying with a high end dryer is accompanied by lots of love and some cheese treats. There are a few nervous shakes, but they recover quickly and see that treats, love and cuddle time come with the bath - so it’s a total win! Purple girl looking like a rock star 💜
Why does it matter who raises your next future family member? Moments like this are why. You want your puppy to learn that bath time is not scary - that they are safe and water is fun. We wash one puppy each day and give treats, loads of praise and make sure they have a positive experience. This first serious grooming experience creates a mental confidence in the puppy and helps set you up for a puppy who you can groom easily and who won’t fear new things -because she already conquered those fears in her first few weeks at home. Miss purple all wet down and not a care in the world.
