Someone just called and informed us this poor guy was just beat with a stick and dumped in the middle of the road. 😭

A guy picked the dog up but can’t keep him.

We are told he’s older and very sweet. Does anyone want to give this poor abused guy a soft place to land?

It's always sad to see a dog get returned after a lengthy adoption. We adopted this guy out 4 years ago and are bummed to see him brought back, but at least we can help him find a home again.

Welcome back to the pack, One Eye!

Okay okay, we're kidding. His name's Reggie!

Poor guy does only have one eye though, but it doesn't hinder him one bit. He was timid but has been relaxing into his new life with his wonderful foster.

(For you veterans of Hero Tails, you may remember him as Crenshaw.)

Reggie is a super sweet guy and was only returned because his owner didn’t have time for him. He has just been to the vet and got a clean bill of health, and is currently available for adoption. If you're interested in scheduling a meet, DM us your phone number and email address!

Well, it happened again. Another dumped dog, this time clear out near Kerby and Cave Junction, was spotted running around in the mountains for at least the past couple months. 💔

When we finally found out about this guy's situation, we knew we had to get involved. While it's always sad to hear about a starving dog in the wilderness, the silver lining is that his hunger made it possible to catch him rather quickly.

He is now safe and sound in a foster home. A huge thank you to our new foster, Kim, for stepping up! 👏🏻 He's been adapting to home life quickly, and showing off how intelligent he is. While most dogs show signs of severe trauma after we bring them in from the wild, this guy has decided he's going to skip all that and be a bundle of energetic rowdiness 😂

Please note we are completely foster-based, and can't continue saving lives unless we have foster homes ready to help.

Thank you to everyone else that ended up being involved, as well—Raleigh, Denise, Deputy Watson, Corina, and the staff at the Josephine County Animal Shelter. It lifts our hearts knowing there are so many good people out there that love helping our furry friends! ❤️

We're convinced this dog was dumped, but on the off-chance he's yours, please reach out to us.

He will otherwise be available for adoption once his holding period is over, if you're interested in meeting him please DM us your phone number and email address.

He'll be going to the vet this Friday, and getting fixed next week. If you are able, please consider donating $15, $25, or $50 so we can pay for his medical expenses and continue in our mission to save lives. Our goal is to raise at least $1,000 to cover our recent and upcoming expenses. We truly can't exist without the financial support of our community as none of this is cheap.

Mo was on death row for no good reason, and now he's living his best life with his foster parents and their other doggos. He's even well-behaved with cats and kids! Just look at this sweet guy playing in the snow...we definitely think you need Mo' love in your life! He's 3 years old, 75 pounds, and loves to love on his people. 🤩🤎🩵
