Another busy week at Jericho Creek Farms and Horse Power Healing Center. Wendy Konichek baled 1600 bales of hay and still has more hay to cut. Many THANKS to the people who helped unload the hay - Pat, Sam, Quintin, Alan, Cody, Colby and Thomas. Also, THANKS to Norm Konichek for supervising the whole operation.

Last week was quite the busy time at Jericho Creek Farms and Horse Power Healing Center. In between lessons Wendy baled 1530 bales of hay. Saturday, Wendy Konichek and Cecelia Conway Author went to an Equine Trail Sports Event with Midnight and Herger. Midnight placed 5th and Herger 7th out of 28 horses.

Then to finish off things off Saturday evening, there was a photo shoot with Simply Savannah Art. We can hardly wait to see the finished photos.

Also, many THANKS to the people who helped unload the hay: Pat, Geoff, Quintin, Alan, Colby, Shane, Marissa and Michael.

Today's 2024 Midwest Hose Fair STABLE LANE spotlight is on Horse Power Healing Center at Jericho Creek Farms in Eagle, WI!

Trainer Wendy Konichek has over 30 years of nationally recognized and award-winning experience training and showing all breeds of horses. She offers lessons in Halter, Western, Huntseat, Beginning Dressage and Western Dressage. She believes riding, at any age or ability, should foster a sense of accomplishment, be fun and establish a wonderful bond with the horse.

Through Horse Power Healing Center, Wendy teaches therapeutic lessons for people with special needs. Wendy is a PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding instructor, Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning and holds an advanced certificate in Equine Services for Heroes.

She offers equine-assisted programs for veterans and their families, as well as children and adults diagnosed with terminal illness. She also rehabilitates neglected or abused horses. Boarding is available on a 112-acre farm where hay is harvested on-site and owner/caretaker Wendy lives. The farm specializes in senior horse care, and many of the current horses are 20+ years old.

We had a wonderful visit with Tom Shropshire and Nancy Shropshire. Linda Lee Konichek decided to to ride, Herger, for her brother, Tom Shropshire. Norm Konichek was the farm tour guide.
