A kind-hearted neighbor reached out to us for assistance in rehoming the next-door dog. This female husky has been kept outdoors and used for breeding. Despite her rough start in life, she’s made friends with the neighbors through the use of many treats and has made a playmate out of their female husky.

Even though she’s been raised as an outdoor dog, her neighbors believe that her gentle spirit and sweet nature would do well in a home. They are looking for a compassionate individual or family to rehome her to. This sweet girl’s original owners “want her gone” and didn’t even bother to give her a name. If you have the space in your heart to save a girl who really needs it, we are willing to assist with access and fundraising for her basic vet care and alteration surgery so that she can retire from the puppy making life and begin a new life as the princess that she really is.

Exciting news! Moose has found his forever home.

Moose has been adopted by a previous adopter. 4 yrs ago Chocolata (aka Coco) was adopted through us. Her mom continued following our page and the minute she saw Moose she just knew he would be a perfect addition to the family.

Moose went from starved and homeless to gaining a loving family and a fur sister.

This boy has been the best and we wish him the happiest life 🩵🩷🩵🩷

Moose is ready for his forever home. He is doing so well. Steadily gaining weight, has all his shots and is on the mend from his neuter.

Moose is a very good dog. He loves everyone he meets and wants to be friends with every dog. He enjoys short walks and playing with toys but his favorite thing is to cuddle on the couch. 💙🩵💙🩵

We get asked time and time again do we have an adoption fee and if so why? How come so much. We’ve even been asked to just give the dog away…rescues spend money on every dog they pull. Vet, medical treatment, food, transport, shelter; all out of the rescue fund. Without donations and adoption fees this could not happen.

Shadow, Moose & Mimi 🩵🩷💙🩵💙🩷

Shadow is a lab/dane mix. Does well with dogs and loves people. Shadow will require anti inflammatory meds but he is a wonderful dog who deserves a home.

Moose is pitbull terrrier. He is a very sweet boy. Loves people and does well with dogs.

Mimi is a mini schnauzer/poodle. She loves all people.

💕💕 Schnoodle alert💕💕

Mimi is a 12 lb mini poodle / mini schnauzer. She is aprox 2 yrs old. Mimi loves everyone she meets.

She has been sprung from the shelter and heading to a foster where we can assess her with other animals.

She’s very sweet and loving girl. She will be fully vetted and ready for a home in 4 weeks.

❣️Moose update ❣️

Moose has gained another 4lbs! 36 lbs and doing great. His respiratory infection is clearing up too.

He is the sweetest dog! Loves cuddling on the couch, playing with toys and getting belly rubs.

He’s not the most photogenic dog but he is absolutely adorable in person 🥰😍🥰😍

❣️Moose update❣️

We’ve had him for 5 days now. He is an absolute sweetheart 🩵🩵

He’s gained 3 lbs since his last weight check on the 15th. Moose is now a whopping 32 lbs. He did amazing at the vet giving lots of kisses.

Moose still has a way to go but we are headed there. He is malnourished and has a respiratory infection but on his way to being healthy.

He is getting lots of love and care with us and we are hopeful he finds his forever home soon. 🐾 💙🩵

Our sweet Brody hasn’t had a single interested adopter since coming to our shelter. Our hearts are hurting for him!😢

Brody is a handsome 8 year old Labrador Retriever mix. He has done well with other large dogs and will likely need a home without cats or small dogs. Brody loves to play ball and throughly enjoys the water.

CRACKING OPEN A WINDOW DOES NOT HELP!
Despite the warnings, hundreds of dogs in the U.S. die every year after being left in a hot car. Someone you know may need to read this very important message. ⚠️🚙⚠️
SIX MINUTES is all it takes for a dog to overheat in a hot car.
Your dog could suffer serious injury or die in a matter of minutes if left alone in a car.
• The temperature inside a closed vehicle left in the sun can double within 12 minutes.
• At least 75% of the temperature increase in a closed vehicle occurs within 5 minutes of closing the vehicle, and at least 89% of the temperature increase occurs within 15 minutes of closing the vehicle.
• Temperatures exceeding 104˚ F can lead to death or serious injury for the occupants.
• Temperatures in a closed vehicle sitting in the hot sun can reach 160˚F and above. An animal will suffer immeasurably and may die before the temperature reaches 150˚F.
• Even when parked in the shade, the vehicle temperatures can exceed 104˚C.
• Leaving windows down more than 2 inches on an unattended vehicle will not prevent a car from reaching extreme temperatures.
• Even if the animal is revived, they can die due to severe internal organ damage.
Your dog trusts you to have their best interest at heart ALWAYS.
Please don’t risk their safety.
If you are not taking your dog inside your destination with you, PLEASE leave them at home where they are comfortable and safe.
