Moose is unfortunately looking for a new home. He was adopted a couple months ago however the resident pup (another PPR baby) did not adjust well.

Moose is a very sweet dog. He does well with all people, including children. Moose also does well with dogs. Moose is fully vetted.

🙏🏻🩷PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN🩷🙏🏻

Remi is 21 month old border collie mix who is in need of medical attention. About 9-10 months ago Remi was picked up as a stray and sitting in the shelter. She needed vetting and eye surgery due to an injury. Unfortunately before we could get her, her “owners” picked her up. Remi spent the next 9 months in misery. She became pregnant, giving birth to multiple stillborns. The surviving puppies were sold…Remi was no longer wanted and she was driven to a deserted street and dumped. Thankfully the “owners” admitted this heinous act and a Good Samaritan stepped in and picked her up. Remi is now safe but requires medical attention. She needs to be spayed and eye removal surgery. She is also HW+ and will need treatment.

Remi didn’t deserve this neglect. She is an extremely sweet girl who should be loved and spoiled. Remi is 29 lbs…and a beauty.

If you can help please consider making a donation. Every dollar will go directly to her care. The total costs are $2150 for all treatments.

Why is the concept “a pet is for life” so difficult for some to understand. Yes we know there are some valid reasons for rehoming but DO YOUR RESEARCH before adopting.

THINK about your future plans and if a pet doesn’t fit into them DO NOT GET ONE.

STOP expecting rescues and shelters to be your backup plan 💔💔💔

🐶Diesal ain’t nothin but a Hound Dog🐶

Meet Diesal, a 6 year old Redbone Coonhound!

This handsome boy came to CCAS with a skin condition and had lots of hair loss. As you can see, his hair has grown back and he is more handsome than ever!

Diesal has made friends with other large dogs and would likely need a home with no cats or small animals as he may chase.

Like most Hounds, Diesal may follow his nose and a fenced yard may be best to set him up for success in his new home.
