Bet you didn’t know we sheared sheep here! Ah, sheep/ Great Pyrenees, tomato/ tomato. Our dear friend Magnus is a bit fearful of grooming so we are helping him out with a little snoozy sedation and two pairs of clippers whizzing madly.

Cuteness from Kitten to Husky. A day in the life of a veterinarian at EAH.

Chloe and her beautiful half dozen.
Buddy has anxiety and we are happy to be able to help him and his parents teach him how beautiful life is.
Ava- your eyes shine love, beauty girl.
Ah Ruby. I hope I look this good when I’m the human equivalent of 16 in dogs years.
Bugs wake dreaming during her euphorically induced ultrasound.
I hope we all have, at least once, a dog like Nelly and a friend like Katya.
Finnegan came in nearly paraparetic, unable to walk in his hind end. Laser treatments and acupuncture and we now have a walking happy boy. As happy as eating baby food? Maybe not, but happier.
And lastly Arya. Well Arya and Dr. Purcell. Smart dogs cannot be bought by dog treats (eh, whip cream maybe…). After a year of maintenance acupuncture treatments, Arya decided, as many of us have, that Dr. P wasn’t that bad after all.

I know we say we love our patients, but we love AND know our patients and will continue to prove it to them even if it takes more than a year.

Our little Buddy, Buddy, here was not at all happy to come in to the vet today. We totally get it Buddy! The doctor isn’t always a run in the park for us either. So, we asked Buddy if he’d rather go home and try again later to which he agreed. We then spent the remainder of his appointment time chatting with his mom about how we could relieve his veterinarian anxiety. Come to find out, he’s anxious at home too. Now we have a nice plan to find Buddy’s sweet spot between anti-anxiety medications and training to relieve home stress and hopefully one day veterinarian stress. Buddy, we are happy you’re here and we are always here to listen to what you have to say.

At first we thought Jasper was full of sass and sticking his tongue out at us. Then we realized he was just going for that last minuscule piece of cheese on his nose. Sweet boy.

Sweet Ruby celebrated her 16th year and one month with us. She may or may not have gotten extra chicken baby food. And by may or may not, we definitely mean may.

“Blissfully hiking in the woods, tongue wagging and leash swaying, then BAM! That Spicy Noodle, who clearly NEEDED a muzzle-snuggle, bites a pup right on down to the veterinary hospital. Thankfully my EAH Fam was ready. And, as you can see, they are really, really great, and nice, and happy, and have the best pain meds… I MEAN TREATS! Yeah, they have the best treats…..” Peace and Love, Georgia M.
