Are you looking (or know someone looking) for a part-time job? Join our team as our Afternoon Helper!

Our Afternoon Helper is an integral part of keeping our facility safe for under vaccinated puppies. Job description includes cleaning kongs, yards, and equipment, filling enrichment toys with food, helping with creative retail projects, and more. You will be around the puppies in Day School and have the chance to learn from the puppy experts. This part-time position works Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

This slow-burn class is perfect for the pup who gets distracted and might react by barking and lunging at specific stimuli. Students will learn calming techniques and behaviors to disengage their pup from reactive triggers in easy settings for better success. After 6 weeks, your pup may not be able to pass by any dog on the walk perfectly, but we will be well on our way!

Hello to all Y’all Tough Texans & valued Clients!! Groomin’s A Hoot is down & out this week due to lack of a big enough generator to power my trailer. My Westinghouse generator went into the shop on 6/27 & it is estimated to be ready in a ‘few weeks’. I had been operating on a borrowed generator & had to return it for a bit until the folk’s in need have their power restored! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
