Dog & Cat PetCare
w up with (a Rottweiler/Mastiff/Labrador Mix, and a Rottweiler), she rescued a mouse, a kitten, two birds, and two dogs – all which either became additions to the family, were nurtured back to health and released into their natural setting, or were placed with a loving family that she personally approved. Samantha has extensive experience with the daily, overnight and weekly care of animals. With respect and understanding, she has successfully cared for dogs ranging from 10 lbs. – 110 lbs., with all types of temperaments, and cats too. She was employed with Kessler Kennels in Granby, throughout high school. Responsibilities included overall care of boarded pets, and the ones that came by for Doggie Daycare. Samantha also has experience with the daily care of horses. Her love for them, is what motivated her to clean stables in trade for riding lessons. JoAnn: works full-time in the insurance industry, and is also part of the Whiskered Pals team. She comes with various pet care experience, from hamsters to horses. Throughout the years, her home has always been blessed with a pet - usually a rescued one! Not only does JoAnn cherish the unconditional love, fun and adventure (and there is always adventure), of having pets in her life - she is grateful for the benefits too. A relaxing family walk, a game of Frisbee, or a competitive Tug-o-war, with her dogs, are all great ways to relieve stress and slow down hustle and bustle of everyday life. TJ : is a student at NWR7 and an important member of the Whiskered Pals team. He has grown up with a multitude of animals, but mostly dogs. He believes in the wise words "Dog's are man's best friend", through the bonds he has built with Shyla, Snickers, Remi, Rosco and Bayou. TJ has been involved in pet care since he was 12 yrs old. His experience includes fish aquariums, small rodents, cats, and dogs. Type, size, and breed are of no concern. He respects their differences, and knows the importance of individualized care. TJ finds the active part of pet care a win-win situation. He not only provides various types of exercise for your pet – but it proves to be a great way for him to train for the high school track team
Michelle: graduated as a CMA from Branford Hall in 2010, and is a valued member of the Whiskered Pals team. While always having a love of animals, Michelle grew up with cats – and even a bird! Her first pet was a stray that her mom found, and they decided add him to the family. Michelle gained her knowledge with dogs, by her willingness to care for them when friends/family went on vacation. She has experience with the daily and overnight care, of both cats and dogs. At the present time, Michelle has two cats. Timmy is a Calico, and Mittens is a Tiger.
