Round 2 for kitten season! There was a little lull which was relaxing for sure! But, here we are again with MORE kitties!!!

We have 8 kittens currently! All who will be making a visit to the vet this week! We are providing dewormer, flea and tick, kitten milk replacer as 6 of the 8 were found without a mom. As you can imagine we are going through a decent amount of supplies.

We are so INCREDIBLY greatful for all your previous donations! If you can dig into those pockets, shallow or deep just a few dollars can make a huge difference! If not we appreciate your continued support! Share our post!

UPDATE!! The boys have been neutered!! We hope that since they are both neutered this will help to get them adopted as a pair.

For some reason we had an issue with one of our previous post and we are getting some very bizarre and odd messages, also from far away places.

So just a reminder and a recap! These boys are located in New London County in CT. They are both neutered.

These are the last 2 of the litter and they deserve to be home!! I do have to remind our supportes and interested adopters, these are kittens. All kittens, and all new pets for that matter require patience and understanding. When you get your new babies home, remember it takes time! They may take several weeks for them to adjust and come around to their full potential. That being said, our rescue has dedicated an incredible amount of time to socializing and we are proud to see the growth these boys have made.

Brothers, up for adoption! These boys deserve a life outside of our foster cat room! Best as a pair for sure, they have spent so much time together and have truly developed a bond.

Litter box trained, playful, friendly and love all the petting!

Is it always cuddles and purring? No, sometimes it kittens running around keeping you up, sometimes its a furball-

After all the work and playing around, they settle down and when they come up to you for the first time, purring and looking for your love- the feeling is sureal.

These two boys, come from an outdoor feral colony where they were found in need of intervention. They have broken out of their shell and THEY DESERVE A HOME.

Patience is temporary, their love is furr-ever.

Looking for SPECIAL adopters/fosters! It's not often I reach out to facebook for help- My husband and I have been working relentlessly to make these kitties friendly! They came from the streets, we got them a little later than normal. By the time we got them they had already developed a sense of fear of people. We have gotten all four to purr! Two of them will come up to you, want to be pet and be near you! The other two are more standoffish, however love to play and will play around you and with you!

We are looking for incredibly special homes, willing to be patient and kind with these adorable furbabies as they navigate their new lives.

Were you ever the last one picked to play on a team in gym class? That's how it is for a lot of adult or senior dogs and cats that are in rescue/foster/adoption organizations...

A lot of us, myself included tend to be attracted to those adorable little new cute fluffy faces... Those cute little faces though, come from somewhere- in this ladies case she gave birth to 3 beautiful kittens who are all spoken for.

Stella is an incredibly beautiful and gentle friend, she wants to be playful we can see it. Her kittens typically end up stealing the thunder.

She will be spayed and up to date on certain vaccinations when she becomes ready for adoption. We have not tested her with dogs or other cats since she's been taking care of her little ones. If you have either, we would be willing to test her with some of the other pets we have.

Adoption applications required.

Thank you's are not enough to those of you generous supporters who donated through our go fund me to the rescue!

It's not always purring and cuddling... sometimes its sickly, flea ridden, starving, wounded and scared animals. Without patience and support from people like you, we wouldn't be able to make 1/2 the difference.

Each donation goes directly towards all the supplies needed to get these babes into tip top shape for adoption! We provide f***l testings, dewormer, flea and tick treatment and prevention, veterinarian appointments and in some more extreme cases further veterinarian care and treatments. We feed and shelter so many fur babies throughout the year it is hard to keep track!

Without your help, our rescue is funded from our own pocket. And yes we do this voluntarily, and we do it happily and gladly. Without donors and support from our friends and families we would not be able to help as many of these critters in need.

Hugsy! Previously known as Molly, is ready for her FURREVER home!! She came to us extremely underweight, very soiled and the mother of 6 kittens. After a warm bath and tons of foods she turned into an incredibly sweet SWEET cat.

She is looking for a quiet household where she can be snuggled and rest quietly. She has such a calming nature she would be an incredible match for someone(s) looking for an emotional support kitty cat, she is IT.

KITTENS ready for their new homes!!!

We have 6 tiger kittens ready to go, super friendly, loud purr boxes and just so darn adorable.

Remember- kittens are lifetime commitments and not just meant to stay kittens, they will grow up to be adult cats. I say this because of the influx of animal surrenders because of owners stating they no longer have time for their pets.

We do require applications and an application fee which helps to cover our costs of feed, litter and medical care.

*Looking for INCREDIBLY SPECIAL HOOMAN BEINGS!!*

In some cases rescue animals that come into our care come with challenges due to where they come from. We ave 4 kittens who have been diagnosed with feline herpes.

A little background information on what this means- Kittens/Cats with feline herpes will have herpes forever. In most cases they can go their entire lives without outbreaks or with minimal complications. The most common symptoms are eye discharge. They are contagious to other cats. This means, we are looking for homes that have no cats, or homes that have cats that also have herpes. You can adopt kittens from the same litter if interested in more than one kitten.

The kitten posted below may have some vision impairment due to the herpes, but other than her wonky looking eye she's a total HAM.

We have a black shorthaired female, a black longhaired male, and a grey and white male and this grey and white female.

If you have a big heart and a lot of love to give please inquire.

Looking for a place to put that extra pocket change? Money found in pockets of your laundry? Donate to Ru's Rescue! All funds go directly into our rescues, including feed, litter, medical care, maintenance.

Currently we have some kittens from a large, local feral colony. We have managed to get over 20 cats spayed and neutered in the area however have not been able to catch a few remaining. Unfortunately it is common in large feral colonies that kittens will carry diseases and illnesses. We have some kittens that are experiencing some severe eye problems requiring further medical intervention.

All it takes are a couple of simple decisions to prevent this type of thing from happening.

1. Do your research before you purchase/adopt/take on any kind of animal. Ask yourself, can I commit to this animals life span a life of health and happiness?

2. Just don't effin' get an animal if you are too much of an A hole to take care of it properly.

Disclaimer: some things are out of our control. This was not. This was very much the direct result of someones neglect and inability to act within the basics of human nature. It is likely throughout the power of social media that someone, somewhere will either recognize this animal, or in fact is the crap of a person who did this in the first place- and in the chance you are that person, shame on you. Just doesn't cover what so many of us wish we could truly say.
