Being well rounded with hard charging straight lines and statue like line manners for water fowl, tenaciously quartering and holding true and steady to wing and shot during upland hunting to being one of the fiercest shed dogs in the industry with a great nose and huge motor to being the prettiest couch potato with the kindest soul Morgan truly is the whole package! Thunder is not only a fantastic performer but a producer as well! Not only does he have hard hitting pups in the US for field trials, hunt tests and so on but he has gone internationally with pups who are walking in field trials in other counties such as Australia and taking the Blue in the first competitions!

My Foxx puppy Reaper has been away doing big dog things with Robbie Knutson. Finally got the call from Robbie to enter him in Vikingland Retriever Club Summer 2022 Field Trial… his first derby😬 and it runs tomorrow… nervous and excited at the same time😬 Robbie seems as tho he has really enjoyed working with him, told us that he is a big goofball with a great attitude who really loves to work! So I’m hoping the big kid puts it all together tomorrow and comes out with a placement!

Wishing Reaper good luck in his debut of the field trial world tomorrow running against 26 other derby dogs all trying to make their mark in the sport! You have big paw prints to fill Mr Man🖤

This little girl is all alone waiting for her forever family to take her home! She is as kind and loving as she is beautiful! She is a total diva and loves your attention! She is the best hiking buddy, snuggle buddy, and bathtime buddy! She will play fetch all day and not only would she be perfect for your littles but would make a hell of a husbands hunting companion or she’d hunting team mate as she is bred to be a rockstar!

Her momma just finished 3 in the nation for the UKC Elite Shed Dog National Championship is a titled Grand Champion Shed dog and 1 win away from her Elite Title on her way to Hall of Fame! She also is a UKC Started Hunting Retriever as well as a very accomplished Upland Hunter! She also has her AKC Dock Senior and Junior Hunter! Very accomplished momma!

Dad is our very own son of the late WindyCitiesMightyMouse aka Mickey who made a huge stamp on the field trial world! Anyone who knows this dog knows he needs no introduction🖤 Dads is a Grand Champion shed dog himself with 1 win away from his elite title! He is a Upland Hunter as well as a Seasoned Hunter with 1 pass towards his Hunting Retriever Champion🖤 He is also a AKC Senior Hunter!

2022 UKC Elite Shed Dog Nationals is a wrap!! The girls worked so hard and I couldn’t have been more proud!

SHR UH GRCHSD Whiskey Rivers Locked On Code Red JH DS aka Morgan she is my girl and the dog I am always so confident with! I know her tell and we read each other so well on the course. She is so fast with a wicked nose and uses her eyes like a hawk! Sometimes she spots them before she smells them! She completed all three series and laid down the fastest champion time of the weekend cranking out a 1:16 in the 2nd series and ended up overall placing 3rd at her very first nationals being one of the top 4 fastest champion dogs in the country!!!!

WSD AJ Over The Moon aka AJ… this dog🤎 I am so sad that she is now going home with her family but what a amazing animal! When I first got her and started training her I knew she was athletic but dear lord she was sooo stubborn!🤬 We butted heads more times then I can count but once it clicked she became a powerhouse on the course knew what her job was and loved it! 1st or 2nd at every competition she entered she became a force to be noticed and at her first Nationals she did not disappoint taking a very well deserved 2nd place finish overall and becoming the 2nd fastest working dog in the country!!

What a great weekend! Whiskey River Retrievers LLC had a great day today! Passes to clients and personal dogs all around as well as placements! Whiskey Rivers Locked On Code Red aka Morgan at her first event in months and a week after having her pups weaned off her ended the weekend with a third place finish in champion with a time of 2:58 and Antler Ridges Cowgirl Rides Away aka Denverwho was the first dog in the UKC to earn the UKC Champion Shed Dog Title after several years off a few puppies later handled by Joe Johnson also earned a pass in Champion! Then Whiskey Rivers High Country aka Chevy received a working pass with a time of 4:07 at her second ever event she takes right after her dad, Whiskey Rivers Best Served Cold aka Karma with a pass at her very first event with much room for improvement, and the crazy chocolate herself Miss AJ Over The Moon who seems to be known by everyone around as several asked about her today by her full name had a second place finish with a time of 1:58! This dog brought her game today and I always get a kick out of the judges when she finds the last antler how relieved they are because this dog flys at these events and I can hear them trip, fall, and everything else behind me as they work to keep up!🤣 Then two of our training dogs came back with their owners to compete for the first time with their dogs! Top Notches Cora From Canton and her mom Jenna Berkemeier ran recieving a time good enough for 4th place and Ray Kenton ran Sadies Boy Blue to also get a pass! What a great weekend and what a nice event! Congrats to all the winners, dogs who earned placements, and those who got passes! Thank you Chad Annon for a great event that was well ran and had lots a good food to keep us all fueled up and moving along as well as handling all the last minute changes and such with understanding and a smile! You and your wife do a great job and thank you to all those that helped keep it running smoothly handlers, judges, and planters🦾

Diesel is the 10 month old son of Whiskey River’s Flawless Journey now owned by Jeff Moon and trained and handled by us out of our very own stud dog Whiskey River’s Strait Up Country aka Roper!!!

Baby chunkies!!! While I’m cleaning stalls and doing barn chores Oakley puppies are just running wild!!! These puppies are so ridiculously cute! We are now officially 4 weeks old are eating puppy slop and had our 4 week dewormer! Their tails never stop wagging and all the want is to be held and snuggled! I just love there little stinkers!

Okay so I need everyone to stop what they are doing and just revel in the cuteness of my little sleeping chunkers🖤💛 Oakley And Jaeger babies we still have 1 yellow girl and a black girl and the little yellow boy looking for fur ever homes❤️
