Dumped along the side of a highway… scared, alone, with no food or water — that’s how Nala and her siblings were found. 💔 But their story didn’t end there.

Thanks to the incredible team at The Gathering Place, these babies were brought to safety and given the care they so desperately needed. And once they were ready, they made their way to us — where Nala’s journey truly began.

Today, Nala can officially say goodbye to rescue life… and hello to forever. 🐾✨ She’s starting her beautiful new chapter with her amazing dad, and we couldn’t be happier for her!

A massive shoutout to Donielle, who not only played a huge role in helping Nala but also just completed her first solo adoption with us! Your dedication, your heart, and your drive leave me speechless in the best way every single day. We’re so lucky to have you.

After patiently waiting for his second chance, James—now known as Baloo—has finally found his happily ever after! 💙 This lovable local surrender has landed in the perfect home, and it’s safe to say he’s exactly where he’s meant to be.

Baloo absolutely adores the children in his new family—and the feeling is mutual! Their bond is already something special, full of cuddles, playtime, and tail wags. 🐾👧👦

Now settled in, Baloo is starting a much-needed diet to embrace a healthier lifestyle. With the love and care of his new family, he’s on the right track to living his best life—happy, healthy, and oh-so-loved. 🐶🥦💞

✨ FRECKLES IS HOME ✨

It’s hard to believe this boy was once found in the middle of a landfill—alone, scared, and completely forgotten. 💔 Just tossed aside like he didn’t matter.

But Freckles’ story didn’t end there. ❤️

Today, he’s living his very best life with a loving family, a pack of dog siblings, and a bunch of farm animals to keep him company. 🐶🐐🐓 He went from surviving in the trash to thriving on a beautiful farm, where he’ll be loved for the rest of his life.

These are the moments that keep us going. These are the happy endings we fight for. 💚

Blossom, aka DQ, and Cruz, aka Tux, were both adopted last night! 🐾 It was completely unexpected, but we couldn’t be happier with where they ended up. DQ went to a family member, and Tux went to another family member — talk about a perfect surprise!

Even better? They’ll be living close by, which means we can visit anytime and they’ll get to see each other often. These two will be best friends for life, with plenty of playdates in their future. 💕 How amazing is that?! 🐶🐶✨

Khali & Ellie are in urgent need of new homes. Their family is moving and heartbreakingly can’t take them along. To make things more difficult, they don’t get along and must be placed in separate homes.

⏰ Deadline: July 7th
That gives us just days to find them each a safe place to go.

Millie Rose and Chomper are the last ones still waiting for a place to call home. Is it because Millie needs a little time to learn to trust again? Or because Chomper has a paralyzed paw? Whatever the reason, it shouldn’t define them. These two have been blossoming beautifully—growing more confident and finally showing their true personalities. It’s just heartbreaking that they’re doing it without a family to lean on.

My name is Chokolo, but you can call me Cholo. I was born on September 3, 2022, and I’ve been holding onto hope.
But today… hope feels a little heavier.

My mom doesn’t want to let me go. She’s a single mother of three doing her best to hold it all together, and my dad—he won’t take me. I know it breaks her heart, but she just doesn’t have the time or resources to give me the life I deserve. I’ve been a good boy. I love kids—I’m gentle and patient—and I get along with smaller dogs, too.

I don’t want my time to be up.
I don’t want to be a memory.

I want to be someone’s reason to smile. I want to lay at your feet after a long day and feel like I finally belong. I want belly rubs, a soft place to sleep, and someone to call my own.

⏳ 6 Weeks and Still Waiting…

Chomper, Nala, and Rose have been with us at Doggoholic Rescue for six weeks now. Six weeks of watching other dogs find their forever homes. Six weeks of wagging tails, hopeful eyes, and waiting… just waiting.

Life here is full of love, belly rubs, and playtime—but nothing compares to having a home of your own. These three went from being found dumped alongside a highway to blossoming into happy, loving, playful pups who just want what every dog deserves: someone to give them their whole heart.

They’ve been patient. They’ve been resilient. They’ve shown us what it means to forgive and love again. But now they’re ready for more. They’re ready for a couch to call their own, walks with their person, and the undivided attention they’ve been seeking from day one.

Chomper, Nala, and Rose deserve the world—and then some.
