It’s catch-up time! 🎉🐾
What an incredible week it’s been for our Doggoholic family!

Butterball (now Rosie), Bodie, Murphy, Juno, and Cap (now Link) have all been adopted within the past week! Our hearts are so full knowing they’re settling into their forever homes. 🏡💗

Today Evie has a meet & greet, Domino & Checkers have theirs on Tuesday afternoon, and we even have a family coming to meet all of the dogs in our care to see who they connect with best!

We are beyond happy with this past week’s outcome, our hearts could burst. 😭🩷🐶

❄️🐾 EVIE IS STILL WAITING… 79 DAYS 🐾❄️
As the weather gets colder and everyone starts settling in for the cozy season, our sweet Evie is still wishing for a home of her own to cuddle into.
She has been with us 79 days. She is now 7 months old..
Since she arrived on September 12th, 53 dogs have come into our rescue.
And since Evie came, 62 dogs have gone home to loving families.
💔 But Evie? Not a single application.
And we just don’t understand why… because she is pure winter-magic wrapped in fur.
✨ Evie’s Frost-Perfect Qualities:
• Up to date on all medical
• Crate trained
• Kid friendly
• Dog friendly
• Has met OVER 60 dogs with zero bad interactions
• The sweetest, snuggliest lovebug
• The picture-perfect family dog
She enjoys her time here, but she deserves so much more—
her own couch, her own family traditions, her own people to love her year-round.
As the holidays approach, we hope someone sees her and says,
“She’s the one.”

🤎Update on Cap🤎

When we picked up Cap, he wasn’t using his front left leg at all. First thing this morning, we brought him to our trusted veterinarian. His temperature was slightly elevated, and he showed pain and difficulty extending that leg. He’s now on anti-inflammatory medication, but he is still in a significant amount of pain.

Cap has already shown us that he finally feels safe. He curled up on our bed and cried while we comforted him, and we gave him additional pain medication to help ease what he’s feeling. No dog should ever hurt like this.

Please keep Cap in your prayers. If he is still struggling come Friday morning, he will need X-rays to get a clearer answer.

I truly hope nothing happened to this sweet boy in his previous home… but my hope is unfortunately very slim. He deserves so much better, and we will make sure he finally gets it. 🖤🙏

Pretty Boy will be going home soon, potentially this weekend!
Our handsome man is heading to the sunny state where he will be absolutely SO loved and finally get the fresh start he deserves. ☀️❤️

From nearly losing hope to now having a family waiting with open arms… this is what rescue is all about.

💔 Hi, my name is Pretty Boy…

I’ve been living with my current mom for eight months, but she’s moving and says I’m just too much dog for her. She can’t take me with her… and now I’m looking for my third home.

All I want is something simple…a couch to nap on, a human to love, and a family who won’t give up on me. I try so hard to stay hopeful, but with how things keep going… it’s getting harder every day.

Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and the one thing I am thankful for is that I’m not sitting in a pound, scared and alone.

You never truly know what story is going to walk through your doors when you’re accepting an owner surrender.
Most people never see what happens behind the scenes… but this one hit hard.

Meet Cap — our sweet surrender.

Domestic violence is real.
And too often, the dogs become victims right alongside the humans suffering in silence.

Today was a reminder that sometimes surrender isn’t abandonment, it’s survival.
Sometimes letting go is the bravest, safest choice someone can make to protect the animal they love.

We always hear “see something, say something” but being told by state police that the person can just pick up the phone and call for help is NOT the answer.
It is never that simple.
Fear, control, isolation, threats… they all play a role. And that’s why so many victims stay quiet.

To anyone enduring this kind of pain:
You are strong.
You are beautiful.
You are worthy.
And we will do anything within our power to help you, the human being you are, not just the situation you’re in.

💛 We’re here for the scared ones.
💛 We’re here for the broken ones.
💛 We’re here for those fighting battles behind closed doors.
💛 And we’re here for the ones who had no choice but to say goodbye.

This is rescue.

We are so overwhelmed (in the best way!) by the incredible turnout today. The amount of people and families who came out to support us truly filled our hearts.

We want to give a massive thank you to Cynthia Scott at Signature Glitter for putting these events together to raise awareness for our mission and helping us receive so many much needed donations. She puts so much time, energy, and heart into every single event she organizes. We are endlessly grateful for her support in every way possible.

Another huge thank you to Grill 37 for hosting this amazing craft fair and adoption event. The setup was beautiful, the atmosphere was perfect, and it was so wonderful getting to meet everyone who stopped by.

And the best part… Trapper AND Napoleon Cooper found their families today! Two more sweet souls heading into lives filled with love, comfort, and spoiling. 🐾❤️

To everyone who showed up, donated, shopped, shared a kind word, or simply stopped to learn more about us, thank you. Your kindness, support, and love keep us going.

We are truly blessed to have such an amazing community behind us. 💛

✨BIG NEWS and a HUGE personal moment for me🥹

🌟 We passed FAR above state regulations. 🌟

The Department of Agriculture didn’t just approve us, they praised us. They pointed out:

🐾 The incredible amount of daily exercise and enrichment the dogs get
🐾 The structure, routine, and stability I pour into their daily care
🐾 That every single dog is fully vetted before adoption, exactly as the law requires
🐾 And the one that hit my heart the most, that I’m willing to keep dogs longer so I can truly understand who they are before placing them

Hearing that felt like a personal win.

Because I work so hard for these dogs.
The early mornings. The long nights. The scrubbing, the sanitizing, the vet runs, the paperwork, the training, the heartbreak, the victories, the constant problem solving.
This isn’t a hobby. This is my mission, my responsibility, my heart.

And today reminded me
The hard work shows.
It matters.
And I am incredibly proud of myself.

💛 The dogs are thriving.
💛 The rescue is strong.
💛 And I’m only getting started.

To my followers, supporters, adopters, volunteers, family, and friends, thank you. Every ounce of help, love, encouragement, and donation fuels this mission and lifts me higher. I feel it. I appreciate it. I never take it for granted.

This handsome boy Storm needed a home asap, and the universe delivered. 💙

After his first meet and greet didn’t work out (not every match is meant to be), someone very special was quietly waiting in the wings. A man who fell for Storm the moment he saw him patiently waited to hear how things went. When he learned Storm still needed a home, he didn’t hesitate for a second.

Today Storm’s new dad picked him up and took him home, his forever home. 🏡❤️
It was truly love at first sight, and the excitement on both sides said it all.

🎉 Congratulations to Storm and his new dad!
From needing a home by tonight to safe, loved, and home forever, this big sweet boy finally has the life he deserves. 💛🐾
