💞 Leona’s Next Chapter Begins! 💞

Our beautiful girl Leona, now Adah, is officially heading home! 🏡✨
She’s found the perfect family we could have ever hoped for, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch her continue to thrive. Her new mom is even taking her to work, helping Adah learn all the ropes of good manners and potty training. 🐾

No more feeding puppies, no more being bred, just a well deserved life as a queen. 👑 From being dumped and forgotten to living her best life, Adah’s story is everything we dream of for every dog who comes through our doors.

We love you so much, sweet girl, and we’ll never forget your gentle, nurturing heart and how lovingly you cared for your little ones. 💕 Here’s to a fresh start and a lifetime of love. 🥹🐶✨

Mommy Leona was spayed Thursday and is officially back with us! 🥹💞
Her smile says it all. No more babies, just fresh starts and happy hearts. This girl has been through so much, yet she’s smiling bigger than ever and soaking up every ounce of love she can. 💗

Soon she’ll get to meet her potential family, but for now, I’m cherishing every cuddle, every tail wag, and every reminder of how far she’s come. Here’s to Leona’s beautiful new chapter, the one she’s always deserved. 🐾✨

Look at all these sweet souls who have found their forever families! 🐾
Every single photo represents a second chance. A dog who was once scared, unwanted, or forgotten is now loved beyond measure. Seeing these transformations and watching families open their homes to our pups fills my heart more than words can say.

We are beyond blessed to do what we do, and none of this would be possible without every single person who believes in our mission. Our adopters, fosters, volunteers, donors, and supporters make it all happen. Thank you for helping us keep the tails wagging and the love growing. ❤️

Let me make this crystal clear. State law requires that any dog 12 weeks and older must have a rabies vaccination and a valid certificate before transport. This is not a suggestion. This is not something you get to “bend” because it’s convenient. This is the law. Period.

If you think it’s acceptable to move dogs across state lines without rabies vaccinations, then kindly do us both a favor—unfriend me, block me, and never reach out for help. Because the second you decide you’re above the law, you’re not just putting yourself at risk—you’re putting me, my rescue, my community, and every animal we care for at risk. And I will not be dragged into your reckless, illegal decisions.

Rabies isn’t a joke. It isn’t a “technicality.” It is a fatal disease that is taken so seriously for a reason. Cutting corners because you think you know better or because you’re trying to save a buck is beyond irresponsible—it’s dangerous and it’s illegal.

So let me say it again: if you don’t respect the law, don’t respect the safety of animals or people, and don’t respect the work rescues like mine put into doing things the right way, then don’t bother asking me for help. I’m not here to clean up your mess when you knowingly break federal law.

Do better, or step aside.

At just 8 to 9 weeks old, little Dale was found wandering the cold streets with his brother. Animal Control picked them up and gave them the fitting names Chip and Dale. Chip quickly found a home, but Dale’s journey wasn’t as easy. Misunderstood, overlooked, and waiting patiently, he spent two and a half long years bouncing between shelter and rescue, still holding onto hope that his turn would come.

Finally, that day arrived. Dale came into our rescue, and soon after, he met the family who would change his life forever. At first, he was nervous and unsure, sitting quietly as Mom asked if she could spend time with him. Within minutes, their daughter, who had always been fearful of dogs, was running side by side with Dale around the campground. Mom knew in that moment Dale was meant to be theirs. 💕

Since then, this amazing family has gone above and beyond to make Dale’s transition smooth and comfortable, something not all families take the time to do. Their love and dedication show just how truly special this match is.

We couldn’t be happier for Dale. After years of waiting, he finally gets to live the life every dog deserves, loved, safe, and cherished unconditionally.

Windham County

This sweet girl, now named Tillie, was spotted running the woods for over a week before finally being caught today. 💔 Thanks to one of our amazing previous adopters who quickly called us, we were able to step in and help.

Tillie has no microchip and is absolutely covered in ticks. Our hearts break for her, and while we truly hope someone comes forward to claim her, the odds feel very slim. We believe she was dumped and if that’s true, shame on you.

She’s safe with us now, and we’ll make sure she finally gets the loving home she deserved from the very start. 🐾❤️

✨ Some things are simply meant to be ✨

This sweet couple had been talking about how they wanted a female pup. The girlfriend even started sharing names she would choose… the second name she said was Aurora. 🌸

As the night passed and a new day began, I happened to see a kennel listed on Marketplace that caught my attention. I reached out, and before I knew it, I was not only heading out to check the kennel, but also meeting someone who would change Aurora’s life forever. 💕

The best friend of the kennel’s owner ended up adopting our Aurora. The second I took Aurora out of the car, her new mom teared up and the connection was instant and undeniable. 🥹

Aurora has been patiently waiting for her turn, and now we know why. It wasn’t a delay, it was destiny. 🌟🐾
