S.W.A.T. Flyball Team is practicing in our camp!
What’s flyball you ask? It is a sport in which dogs race one another over hurdles in a team format. One goes and gets the ball and comes back and then the next one goes. Happy one year to Fozzie and pebbles!
Pebbles made fast friends with everyone and loves zooming around having her friends and brother chase her.
Fozzie came in not sure what camp was and started off just watching and not he’s a spicy player and loves tackling his sister when she’s not with other friends.

Apollo Turns 2 today! He and his brother joined our camp pack a month ago and even though Apollo is shy he roughhouses with his brother Atlas.

Mr Winston turns 2 tomorrow!!! He brought in treats for all his camp friends. What a gentleman. He got to play with all of his girlfriends in camp.

It’s Makkachins One year anniversary today!!! He came in and started in large but found his place among the small fry’s. He spends his day flirting with the ladies and chatting with his pals.

Happy One year anniversary to these two Furry Friends. Piper who is the Golden loves to tell her friends how to play and is very jealous when they don’t play with her. Mikie the black lab mix came in running and playing and now he chills and watches over his friends. And he loves taking the camp counselors for walks around day camp. They are both so fun in their own ways.

Miss Luna has been with us for one year!! She started off a shy gal who watched friends play to numbing and zooming around and getting in the middle of friends playing! She’s come so far. We all love you Looney Tunes!

Don’t let that distinguished glare fool you. Apollo is 1 year old today!! He happily celebrated his birthday with friends before going off and celebrating with family. Apollo loves racing and wrestling with his friends. Even though it rained, that didn’t stop this boy from having the time of his life.

The last Total Eclipse in Cleveland Ohio was 1808 here are 2 interesting facts relating to dogs.
1: Capt. Lewis first mentioned his dog in his journal entry of September 11, 1803: “I made my dog take as many [squirrels] each day as I had occasion for. They were fat and I thought them when fried a pleasant food. Many of these squirrels were black. They swim very light on the water and make pretty good speed. My dog was of the Newfoundland breed, very active, strong and docile. 2: Cadaver Dogs- The earliest example of a dog pointing out dead individuals dates back to 1808. In 1806 and 1808, two women mysteriously disappeared, and Andreas Bichel was the main suspect. The police searched his house and found the clothes of the two women, but no further evidence.
Soon after, a court clerk took his dog for a walk around Bichel’s house. Although this dog did not have cadaver dog training, it alerted the clerk to Bichel’s woodshed. Happy one year Lexi!
“She runs & plays at daycamp, lexi is very lazy at home. We have a 2 ft little fence to keep her in the yard that she wont jump over, thank god, lol!  If she wants on our bed or in the car she will only put her front paws up & we have to lift her back end to help her, lol! And her BFF at home is our 2 yr old Granddaghter Mya. She lets Mya do whtever she wants to her, lol!” She loves all her dog and human friends here too.

2 friends who celebrated their one year anniversary with us 1: Ollie who loves bouncing around with friends in camp and getting lots of snuggles from care takers.
2: Bentley who gets driven to camp once a week and loves every minute of it. Then races to get inside to see his best friend Rylee.

Hi !
March 10th was the one year anniversary of the grand opening of The Wright Pet and it wouldn’t have been possible without all the customers who trust us with their fur babies. This past year has been a lot of learning and growing. Some of you may know we added Training and Grooming/Bathing. And I hope to continue to grow and make this boarding and daycamp the best of can be. So thank you again to everyone!!
