Good to know that the emus would defend themselves if a predator intruded.

2 years ago when Bamboo would hug and whistle with me 🥲 miss those days. He still hugs, but his whistles are now hisses. Just a sound that adult male emus make.

The emu raised with his human family

Bamboo hatched on Jan 29, 2019 and lived inside his human family’s house for two months. He grew a love for people that has never been seen with typical wild emu behavior. Two months and many, many emu diapers later, Bamboo moved outside when the weather was warmer. Two more (blonde) emus were hatched and later joined Bamboo for companionship. Now a year later, Bamboo moved out to a new farm with his emu girls and human family to start his new adventure.
