BIG NEWS! : This is what keeps us coming back! After 963 days, Richie Rich has found his family! This wonderful couple were committed to changing Richie's life and in order for him to trust them, they came every day for almost 2 months. They spent many hours in the outdoor play yard with him, giving special treats, brushing him, and just winning him over. He started his new life today, and we are eager to hear updates! Thank you for adopting!

UP FOR ADOPTION: Bavarian is a very sweet and soft 4 year old male Golden Doodle with a sensitive and happy nature. He was found all alone on a back country road, and though we have no idea how or why he was there all alone, it has turned out to be our lucky day because now we can find him the safe and happy home he deserves. He walks well on a leash with his big long strides and seems very responsive to handling once he understands you are not going to hurt him. He flinches and ducks away if you come at his head too quickly which would indicate some rough handling in his past. Bavarian weighs 65 lbs. and will require a fenced yard.

UP FOR ADOPTION: Gunner is a 1 1/2 year old male Dalmatian that needs a new home with an active family. He has been somewhat sheltered so he will need to make sure that you are friend and not foe, and it will be best for him to start to venture out for walks and opportunities to socialize.He is a good boy and has learned to walk on a leash, though more practice will help his desire to pull and walk faster! Gunner weighs 58 lbs and will need a fenced yard.

UP FOR ADOPTION: Minnie is a 3 year old female Dalmatian that needs a new home with an active family. She has been bred twice to our knowledge and we are making sure that will never happen again. She exemplifies the breed characteristic of being standoffish with strangers but once you are her family, she will form a very strong bond. She loves to be around her people and will make a great family addition. Minnie weighs 48 lbs. and will need a fenced yard.

UP FOR ADOPTION: Rocky (male) and Abby (female) came to us when their owner had to go to assisted living and could not take her dogs with her. Rocky and Abby are 8 years old, brother and sister, and have never been apart. We will not separate them and will only consider applications willing to take both into your home. They are very sweet and passive and would not cause any issues in a home. Rocky weighs 14 lbs and Abby weighs 12, and both are on a diet! They are house trained and are very quiet, only barking when they need to go out. They need a safe place to call home for the rest of their lives.

UP FOR ADOPTION: Pogo is a 2 year old male Beagle / Cattle dog mix that came to us as a stray from the Dog Warden. He is an active happy boy who will enjoy an active family. He appears to like other dogs and did fine passing the cats, and is sweet enough that kids should be super fun to play with. He is a nice medium size and weighs 35 lbs.

These two girls are feeling SO much better today after their transformation with Ann Rose Dog Grooming LLC. Celestia (gray & white) and Lunaria (black) are sisters to our recently adopted Belladonna that also had a much needed grooming. Celestia and Lunaria are 1 year old female Sheepadoodles that are up for adoption! Also, if you want any recommendations on local groomers, we have nothing but praise for Ann!!
