IN NEED OF A HOME: Stringbean is a 1 1/2 year old male Shepherd mix that was found as a stray and is now looking for his forever home. He may have been running for awhile because he was very thin and is still gaining weight. He currently weighs 53 lbs. and should get to 60 lbs. when filled out. In the time that he has been with us we have discovered that he is very smart and learns quickly. He has mastered the leash and just needs the occasional reminder not to walk too fast. He loves people and should do well once he settles into a family.

UP FOR ADOPTION: Theodore, or TheodorABLE, came to us when his owner could no longer give him the proper care. Theodore is a 1 year old male Corgi who is sweet, smart, and ready for a new family. Theodore, though very cute, is not for a first time dog owner. While Corgis can make wonderful family pets, it's crucial to understand their needs and be prepared to provide adequate training, exercise, and mental stimulation to ensure a happy and well-behaved companion. Corgis are a herding breed and will often nip at the heels of small children, only doing what they have been bred to do. Corgis can be quite independent, though they are loyal to their family.

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: Due to a situation out of anyone's control, we agreed to take on a little Jack Russell/Chihuahua/Dachshund mix so she could have her babies in a safe environment. On March 4 she delivered 6 babies, 4 boys and 2 girls. Half are all tan and look like dad, and half are white and tan and look like mom. She was a good little mom (after the initial birthing process when she was a panicked first-time mother) and has raised her babies to the point where they are ready to bust out on their own and find their forever home. These puppies will be between 15-20 lbs when full grown.

UP FOR ADOPTION: Booth is a 6 month old male Retriever mix who appears to have Giant Schnauzer mixed in. He was dumped and found with Brennan and we think they are brothers with many similar mannerisms. Booth is much larger and currently weighs 49 lbs, making him an easy target for 60 lbs. He is super friendly, loves to play, is good around other dogs and cats and should be fine with all family members.

UP FOR ADOPTION: Brennan is a 6 month old male Retriever mix that came in with his brother Booth. They were dumped out in the country where they were really too young to survive on their own. These boys love to run and play and both are quite uncoordinated, tumbling around the field. Brennan has a beautiful black wavy coat and is smaller than his brother. He currently weighs 38 lbs. but is still very thin and lanky. He should grow to 50 lbs.

UP FOR ADOPTION: Lucy is a 3 year old female Blue Tick Hound that came to us with four puppies who had survived the freezing temperatures unlike her other ten puppies that froze to death. Lucy is ready to find her own forever home and has the right personality to fit in just about anywhere! Her happy attitude will keep you smiling as she does her zoomies, trots around the yard, or looks at you with her big soulful eyes. We have always said there is nothing better for a family than a hound! Lucy weighs 63 lbs.

UPDATE 5/3/25: Willow has been ADOPTED!!

**ADOPTED**: Willow is a 1 1/2 year old (DOB 10/28/23) Sheltie that was surrendered when she did not get along with the family cats. Willow is very active and loves to play. She seems to like the other dogs and would probably do well with a playmate, burning off her puppy energy. Willow weighs 27 lbs.

IN NEED OF A FAMILY: Nova is a 5 year old female mix breed dog that would like to find a family that does NOT like to hike but would prefer a very short jaunt down the street. Nova is very sedate and is not into new adventures and prefers a quiet predictable home life. She wants a person to call her own so she can sit beside you as you watch TV or read. Nova is a velcro dog, so going to the bathroom by yourself is out of the question. Please come meet your new best friend and let Nova enjoy the comforts of home life.

UPDATE 4/28/25: Tub has been ADOPTED!!

**ADOPTED**: Tub is a 2 year old male Dachshund / Jack Russell terrier mix that came from the same household as his mom, Nala. He is very sweet natured, loves belly rubs, and would make a nice calm companion. He does well on a leash and does well with other dogs. Tub weighs 23 lbs.
