Note.....My Georgie Girl is four years old now and I felt compelled to write. I’m not sure how I got so lucky. She is smart and loving and her temperament is perfect. When she’s around other dogs, she’s actually courteous and playful. If there’s an aggressive situation between other dogs, she stays away. She’s not afraid—she’s just not interested. She’s so nice to everyone she meets. She’s obedient (she’s been well-trained), but easy going. No quirks. No behavioral issues. No accidents in the house. No destruction. Just a lot of brilliance, love and companionship. I’ve said it before, but I must say it again. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I am so proud of what I have been able to produce as a breeder overall. My dogs are beautiful with good coats, structure and their temperaments are wonderful. They make their families so happy. I wanted to produce smaller standards and overall, I am accomplishing this with a handful of exceptions. Here is a picture of our adorable Sprite. She is one of the last Athena/Journey babies. TY Susan for loving this precious JDV girl!

Update....
Definitely a learning curve to both CAT and FAST CAT. Because of his size, Journey had to run a 600 yard course for CAT. Too much for him I think. But he seemed to really get into the chase once he got going. Then puttered out halfway through and came looking for me. Did better than I expected though.

FAST CAT was a straight line run where I waited for him at the finish. He ran 3 times and got better each time but still not overly competitive. Started at 13+ seconds. Then 11 seconds, then 10. Most dogs seemed to be running 7--8. Watched a greyhound do 5.7. Incredible to watch. Of course these were mostly more experienced and younger dogs. Journey can run faster than the 4wheeler going 30 mph, but that doesn't seem to translate as well into fast cat :(. Will probably try again though for giggles.

Journey is waiting very patiently for his turn at our first Fast Cat competition today. It is basically a 100 yard dash. We will also try the CAT race too which is 300 yards with turns and twists. Old man just turned 6 last month. Love my boy.

Couldn't help but post this pic of the ever so handsome Togo. So regal.....just as a Poodle should be. But don't let looks fool you. Underneath that beautiful exterior, is a warrior that will defend you, play hard and snuggle softly.
